APA Hotel Tottori Ekimae Minami

Parking situation isnt great. On site parking is too small to handle the guests and the partnered parking facilities are quite a walk away.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was easy to walk to all the places I wanted to go and the onsite parking was very convenient! I think it was a good price for the comfort and location. The view from the 12th floor was also nice. I reserved a non-smoking room, but the room smelled like smoke. It wasn't too bad, but I was disappointed. Better than City Hotel, but not as comfortable as Green Rich. For the price, it was okay.

The rooms are really big.

Room wide and bath room.

Everything goes smoothly, the room is big, but the bath room is small, but still acceptable. The location to train station is good, but sad the train service doesn't goes to the airport directly. (of course it's not the hotel decision). The front desk staffs are very helpful. The laundry service at level 3 can be better. I'd have to queue for 1 hour for my turn. The breakfast is the same for the 3 days stay. Boring.

Good location

Everyone was very nice. Room was clean. Check in was smooth. There are bilingual options for English and Japanese. Close to station but no train noises in room. Some other guests were a little loud in the hallway at night.

We arrived at 7pm and the put us in a smoking room with air cleaner that did nothing, headache, stifling smell, poor sleep floor 13. To make it up they gave a free breakfast an a very large best 3 person non-smoking room on the third floor for the next three nights and that wa great. The staff were nice. Not having a non-smoking room as reserved when we checked in.

Close to Tottori Station, and relatively affordable, I expected this hotel to be like any other APA I’ve stayed at before. The “non-smoking” room on the “non-smoking” floor reeked of having housed a chimney, and the deodorizing spray provided did little to help. I still can’t believe that in a supposedly 1st world country such as Japan they allow people to smoke in their rooms at hotels. Additionally, the bathroom smelled of damp and mold, and the wallpaper was peeling everywhere I looked. The entire space could use a renovation or, at the very least, a relabeling as a Super Hotel

Surprisingly one of the biggest economy rooms we’d had during our trip in Japan. We loved this rare find. Definitely will use again if we visit Tottori again

Conveniently located near the train station, easy access to local restaurants for dinner. There is availability of onsite car park which is useful for us since we drive. Room is clean, quiet and not small. I am aware when I made the booking that one side of the double bed is against the wall. This is somewhat inconvenient when one needs to go to the toilet in the middle of the night.

Good location. The Parking is very small, then we have to drive to the second parking lot. However, the map for the second parking is not in the good scale. Thus, we have a hard time finding the second parking lot. The staff cannot communicate in English, then, they cannot explian how to drive to the second parking lot.

Exceptional

Ideal location for a stay that relies on public transport, be it train or buses. All within walking distance. Shopping and romping around the countryside is easy with little chance of getting lost. Food variety is abundant and nearby. Only problem was the freakish weather.

Superb

Tens across the board. Fire location, extremely helpful staff, fantastic amenities, they replenished room items every single day, and overall fantastic. I highly recommend this to anybody staying in Tottori, it’s legit a three minute walk from the train/bus stop making it extremely convenient.
