The city is fantastic, what an amazing The owner was rude. We booked the hotel at 7pm after leaving a terrible hotel in Limoges, it took us two hours to get to this new hotel, we were greeted by a closed reception and had to call for help. The owner arrived after literally two minutes and told me I would be charged an extra 15 euro for being late. The rooms were advertised as having air con, they don’t! The beds are uncomfortable! The rooms are loud with street noise! Lights weren’t working in the rooms! Breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about though. I spoke to the owner about the extra charge in the morning and he angrily disagreed but removed the charge.

Good location, friendly manager, possibility for bike parking, charming old building (redecorated), comfortable beds, good breakfast (extra cost). You have to be careful with old style stairs

The location of the hotel is optimal - next to the pedestrian street and very close to the historic centre, We booked a triple room and it was spacious. The breakfast was good. The only critics is related to the breakfast. An expired cheese was offered to the guests. The housekeeper explained, that he has not noticed that the expiration period was over by 2 weeks.

This hotel is in an absolutely fantastic location to explore the old part of Tours, and is situated right opposite the Theatre. The room was spotlessly clean, and had the most incredibly comfortable bed. Friendly host. It is an old and quirky building but this cannot be classed as a criticism, but it not a place to stay if you have mobility problems, sadly

8 minutes walk from the train station, and in a walk distance from all the attractions. The staff is amazing and kind. The rooms are a bit small, but have their own charm, and are very comfortable. The only thing that was a bit unfortunate was that the hotel didn't have elevator.

The hotel is well located for someone travelling by train, as it is about 10 minutes walk from the railway station, but also central for the old town and museums etc. The breakfast was good quality. The room was rather small, but fine for a night or two.
