ibis Tours Centre Giraudeau

I liked that there was parking available The room was ok but not as clean as I would have liked. The furniture and windy sills were somewhat dusty. The outside of the property had poorly maintained landscaping. The weather was hot and dry so I understood why it wasn’t lush and green but it looks like they hadn’t maintained whatever lawn was there and there were a lot of weeds. The area was not so great either. I didn’t know a lot about the area before I came but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel was on the outskirts of town, with no restaurants or attractions nearby. We used it as a base for a couple of excursions to chateaus in the area, but that was about it.

After being shown to a room that had been slept in with dirty towels, Alain on reception offered us another room and was was helpful but promised to try and sort a refund but despite several requests to booking,com along with photos and a request to the hotel group we have not received a response from anyone. Alain also tried to secure another hotel with secure parking but we decided to move away from the City to a safer option. The room had been slept in and the sheets and towels were used and dirty. The parking is not secure and just on the street outside and the area is very rough and walking around the area is not advised. Large groups of young men were hanging around outside and the whole experience was very unpleasant. we were concerned about our safety and our car and decided to move away from the city to another hotel.

The staff was absolutely amazing! Everyone was so friendly!

Lovely functional bathroom. Great shower. Close to supermarket for bits and pieces We chose this hotel as it was advertised as having a restaurant on site which was important to us as we'd been traveling all day. However, on arrival, we were informed that the restaurant was closed so had to rely on the local supermarket for a salad as no other places nearby were open ( Saturday night)

Samantha was the best hostess and concierge. She made our stay exceptional. She was very accommodating even with bus loads of people coming in. She took the time to take care of our needs. We were traveling with our senior mothers and she was very helpful to arrange rooms together, make sure we wanted breakfast. The best part was ice for my soda each evening. A missed American commodity when traveling in France. Her assistant Maia was also there to help out too. Thanks Ibis Team. Highly recommended. Sincerely, Ice Woman. Liked everything. Thanks!

The location was nice The restaurant was closed which was not appreciated.

The hotel is roughly 20 minutes walk from Tours centre which was not a problem, there is a bus stop near the hotel. So well placed. Our twin (309) was on third floor, quiet. The staff was very friendly and most helpful with their recommendations. Would recommend.

Lovely staff, comfortable beds, great shower, good variety of tasty breakfast, nice 20 min walk through park to town and free parking outside which felt totally safe- also carrefour express opposite if you need anything Everything was great - restaurant was open but we eat in town

It was very comfortable. Shower was excellent. We had dinner and the food was good. The staff were really helpful. The hotel looks a bit worn round the edges but it's still perfectly acceptable.

Excellent breakfast, parking direct at the hotel, however not coming later than 10 PM - no night reception. Location at big solely, Pizza restaurant walking distance until 9 PM.

We travelled with our dog by car and were able to park comfortably and without setbacks

Smelll of cooking în the morning from the ventilation system. Duster everywhere în the room. Poor cleaning.
