Fantastic location in the heart of old town. Very loud on the street below until very late. Hard to get enough sleep.

It was clean and in a great location. The room was really small, but it's acceptable for a hotel stay.

A lovely place to stay in a great location. It's a beautiful old building with so much charm and originality. It's been very well looked after and loved. The restaurant attached to it serves superb food and has great staff. There is nothing to not like. A piece of Sicilian heaven.

This is an absolutely gorgeous place, in a great location, with wonderful staff. The only negative was that we had to leave.

I felt as if I were in a movie about living in a Sicilian palazzo. As a botanist and a drooler over fascinating architecture, my heart and brain nearly exploded. Add to that the sumptuous bed, bathrobe, breakfast, location, and excellent staff, and I was in heaven. It was beyond my expectations. If I HAD to choose one thing I think others would grouse about, it's that there is no lift. But the steps are gentle and few, and the elbow room is generous. The staff offered to hoist suitcases up on a rope and platform through the courtyard, if it were an issue for us. It wasn't.

You live in a palace. Like a king

The BnB is right on the main pedestrian area, a beautiful building with an inner courtyard full of plants. Our host upgraded us to a suite! The room was huge. The ceiling must have been at least 15 feet high. The 4 poster bed was fairly comfortable. Lots of cupboard space. The bathroom had a heating rack so you could dry clothes on it (which I greatly appreciate when travelling). Breakfast was right next door (included in price) with a nice selection of food. There's a cushion type headboard attached to the bed frame, but the pillows fall into the crack, so you can't sit up in bed. The drain in the shower was very slow, so you had to be careful not to flood the bathroom floor. There's no elevator in the building so you need to carry your luggage up.

Lots of character and great location. Also had bike storage Nothing, it’s an old building but that’s part of the charm.

Room was spacious and quiet. Central location. Decent breakfast. No hot water in the shower (we were told it would take a few minutes, but it never even got lukewarm) and the water pressure was extremely weak. There was a kitchen in the room but an extra charge (5 euros per person per day) to use it. The gentleman who checked us in did not offer to help with our luggage, even though we are senior citizens and he saw me struggling with my suitcase on the stairs. WiFi was very spotty. Safe was broken. We did not feel welcome.

The property and location were amazing. The courtyard and restaurant were also beautiful and the food excellent! Would highly recommend Ai Lumi and stay there again. Everything was great!

Great accomodation, clean, perfect breakfast, free bottle water in the room. Despite the fact that the accommodation was located near the main street it was peaceful and quiet.
