Wonderful location with fantastic lake views. The staff were great and accommodating. The cost was excessive for the experience. It is a very nice hotel but the prices demand exceptional and I did not feel it was exceptional.

The old architecture and the beautiful gardens and hiking trail.

Small room a little tired. Location and view great. Service good everywhere at the hotel. Dining not what we had hoped - expensive and ok but not value at the price point. Breakfast v good. Dinner less so. Lunch at the bar area very good but not amazing food. It trades on its historic reputation and has a price point at the insane end but doesn’t have facilities or dining options to match the price tag.

The facility and staff where fantastic. Everyone greeted you by name and any request was satisfied The entire time we were there the road was under construction and it was extremely loud preventing us from enjoying the balcony to the lake or many of the beautiful outdoor spaces of the property. Had we known this was the case we would not have stayed at the property. The manager did cover the cost of our 3 hr boat tour which was very nice, but it was not the experience we hoped for at the hotel

Love everything about the hotel, great location, breathtaking view to the mountain and the lake, , gorgeous interior, garden, pools, amazing buffet breakfast we’ve had! Definitely a place we would love to come back and have a vacation in Lake Como!

I like the architecture, everything had history but was well kept, clean and felt so extravagant. The details the staff and team placed in everything made this place feel as though it was faultless and perfect I loved everything I can’t fault anything

Location General Ambience Breakfast 1. Terrible experiences with food for the price the place charges. Across the board highly overcharged where dishes and prices were four to five times higher a Michelin quality restaurant elsewhere in Italy with food being far from quality you find in the region. Food would arrive late usually for one of the two people so you would eat cold or at different times (20 minutes apart a day where we paid over 150 euros for a steak and 54 for a cacio e Pepe which you would think they would bring on time), crazy pastas for over €50 arriving cold to the table, orders would be forgotten such as cocktail order arriving 40 minutes after sat down when the main was ending, staff acting “stern” & short when it came to small things such as schedules (eg eating at the bar one night and “told off” for taking our time to have cocktail instead of dinner) 2. Hidden Charges - Surely must say somewhere in some fine print but shocked at the bill saying it was €45 per night for the car. We did not say anything to them but was a low point to find out we had been tipping the folks there and were slammed with a fee. It was low season and surely they would have been able to flag this was an “extra” but did not. Why not flag it? 3. Room was tired - every day we had a puddle of water from the shower to the entrance of the room because the shower door was not concealed - for a room of the expense this was somewhat unacceptable to have a wet floor every day - does not make you want to spend time in the room

Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at Grand Tremezzo was pure magic—every moment felt like a dream come true. The extraordinary treatment and breathtaking views made it an unforgettable experience we'll cherish forever.

This is hands down one of the finest hotels where I’ve stayed. Everything was first class! I would say I wish the pricing was a little lower but clearly the stay and service is worth every penny.
