Hotel Villa Marie

Very clean and great location.

Everything way truly magical, from the whole staff at the hotel to the food, the cleanliness, the rooms and the location. The family of hotel villa marie made us all feel like family and truly made my mom's birthday so special. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so so much! Everything was great!

We got the BEST room in the hotel, so it is good. My son got a VERY SMALL bad room . The road in front of the hotel is SUPER BUSY. So next time I would stay in a hotel more distant from this main road. Food is not good, breakfast type SYSCO.

Beware the room you book. I could have sworn I booked a lovely room (judging by the photos) but was given a room in “the annex”, which were basically pool cabanas not in the main building. I think the rooms in the main building had more character. The annex seemed to have been built in the 80s and never updated since. There’s also a gorgeous terrace on the top floor of the main building that is worth a visit.

Villa Marie is a beautifully restored villa. Every detail is perfect and meticulously restored. It has a lovely covered terrorist side yard with the swimming pool and all the views look over beautiful Lake Como. This family owned hotel ex warm and very welcoming, and they’re always ready to assist you.

The owners of the Hotel Villa Marie are there meeting guests, and running the entire business. They are amazing people and made us feel like we were in thier home. The views, location, and all of the extras (pool, rooftop, dock) make this one of the best places to stay on Lake Como.

Clean and very, very well maintained. Parking spots on the property. Great breakfast. Very kind staff. None.

10 min. walk to Ferry. Clean hotel with beautiful views of the lake. Friendly/helpful staff. Bed pillows were hard, as stiff as a board. Not comfortable. Hair dryer provided didn't run long enough for me to dry my hair. It would automatically shut off. I'd have to wait several minutes for it to cool down before turning it on again.

The view from our balcony is amazing, the side view is the pool, the balcony view is the lake..my room is number 9 in second floor. Breakfast is delicious. Thank you for your hospitality, the staff very friendly

A beautifully designed historic building with modern and comfortable facilities. Location was amazing and the owners and staff were amazing and extremely kind. A true home away from home. Nothing - it was perfect

The family vibe and location to the ferry was perfect for us since we didn't have a car. The historic building makes you feel as if you are living in another era. The charm and care that goes into this place is above and beyond. The included breakfast is a great way to start the day and meet some other travelers if you wish to engage. There are a few very good restaurants near and it's very picturesque. I will be back. Not much to not like...the bar was always open, there are snacks available.
