Everything. It’s a beautiful hotel, built in the early part of the 20th century, and so has large open spaces, wide corridors, high vaulted ceilings …. I could go on. The rooms are elegant and well equipped. Marble bathrooms and all the little touches one would expect, but often don’t get. The Dinner was very good and the breakfast amazing. The staff were super helpful and all our needs were instantly met. Perfectly positioned for joining a cruise ship as the terminal,is on the other side of the road. One lift was being repaired which meant long waits occasionally for the lifts. A minor inconvenience and one that will be resolved soon.

I liked the hotel view through the sea and sun set and the city was calm and quiet hotel service was fantastic. Additionally i would like to thank Mr. Ahmed at the reception for his kindness and support.

Loved our room. Beautiful view. Friendly, helpful staff. Room Service meal was not good/dry. We booked a driver to Ljubljana using the Concierge, who was wonderful, but the driver for our trip was unfriendly, kept the car COLD, listened to talk radio and acted as though he didn't speak English until we arrived in Ljubljana when he talked to us to dump us out at our end point.

Perfect location. Clean and comfortable beds. Wonderful bell service. Room never got cool despite the AC on low; many elevators out of commission; room key stopped working and a far walk to the desk to replace (calling hotel you only get Italian);

This hotel is right across the main hub for cruise ships so you have an amazing view of the sea and harbor. Would highly recommend a room with sea view and balcony it's so worth it. Wifi worked really well. Nice bathroom and ample storage space. Breakfast was okay. Some of the staff were not friendly.

Perfect location. Great staff. The concierge Giulio went above and beyond his duties to provide me dental emergency assistance Will definitely return.

Close to everything. Helpful staff. Nothing

Location, elegant historical setting, ample room, helpful staff, abundant breakfast. Two out of three elevators were out of service during our stay. The bathtub surface is very slippery…a bath mat needs to be available in the room. No glass ware was provided in the room beyond two tumblers in the bathroom. Most hotels of this stature have a pair each of still wine and Champagne glasses in the room for their guests to utilize.

Everything except a very high price. It is rather expensive. Also, they try to charge you for many small things that you didn’t expect, so it sums up.
-
Good location for Trieste tourists. Attended the opera performance a few blocks away. Walked around the area. Walked 1 block to our cruise ship. Very convenient
-
Fantastic location, view to the harbor and just around the corner from Piazza de l’unita. No complaints.
-
great staff particularly concierge, reception, bar. bed, bath, balcony, restaurant and smoking area were fantastic nothing

Beautiful hotel No pool
-
Located center of Trieste, overlooking the sea; large hotel but all staff accommodating and helpful
-
Excellent hotel, pleasant staff, high level service, excellent food! See you again soon

I would have liked a bath with separate tub and walk in shower but this hotel does not have walk in showers. There is a nice view of the water except when the cruise ships dock in front of the hotel.

Attention to detail. Good dining.

Breakfast was fine. Heavy on pastries. Carpet was worn and stained in our suite. Otherwise good.

Beautiful lobby. Comfortable bed. Air conditioner did work.
