Lovely guest, an excellent guide to the local history.

The location of this B&B is excellent. It's on a bustling street in the midst of Trieste. However, it's also still quiet and peaceful. The room was large and the bed comfortable. And for a longer stay, there's plenty of places to stash one's things and store clothing. Because is an old apartment converted into a B&B, you need to leave your room to go to the bathroom across the hall. This is not at all the fault of the owner, but it is inconvenient, especially late at night. The breakfast is an eat-in-the-kitchen-with-the-person-managing-the-B&B situation, which might be great for some but is not my preference. Especially since my politics were quite different from his! Finally, this B&B is very strict around additional guests. A friend had joined my trip last minute, and we were able to add her to my reservation last-minute at every other hotel and B&B except this one. She had to get a last minute hotel elsewhere.

It was like staying in somebody’s very comfortable home. The location is perfect, close to the heart of the city. Alessandro is a great host, welcoming, helpful, interesting and informative. A good very spacious room. Really good all round!

Beautiful place and amazing host. Everything very clean and cozy.

The host was super nice and we had a good conversation over breakfast. There was a/c and the building itself was fairly quiet. Good location from the bus and train station. Good WiFi The floor was pretty squeaky making it difficult to sneak out at midnight for my bus, hope I didn’t wake any other guests

This is a wonderful apartment in a great location in the centre of Trieste. There is a bit of traffic noise as the rooms face onto a main street.

Great location to explore the beautiful and elegant city of Trieste. Also, Alessandro was super personable and helpful, also very open to accomodate special requests. The place is charming, spacious, and clean, and it really makes you feel like living in an authentic Italian apartment. Everything went well.

Superb location, friendly service. Bed needed new bolts attaching as the end fell apart. Very freaky floorboards but that's to be expected in these older prioerties
