The staff were extremely helpful especially Mr. Mayuran. We got complimentary breakfast and he helped arranged the tours for Dolphin watching and Pigeon Island. The pool is great. The outdoors are well maintained. The location is good and the hotel provides a drop/pick up service to the beach. The lady in the spa is very friendly and efficient. The standard double rooms are very shabby considering it is a 5* property. Stay in the Suites, it is totally different from the standard rooms.

Service was excellent, very peronal and every request was answered perfectly. The pool, bar and restaurant are great. The room can be cleaned better.

It’s so tranquil Food is delicious The air conditioning units are louder than usual and one hears ac from nearby units even if not using it in the suite

This was our best 6 days restfull holiday ever. The food was amazing. As a Tamil who has been overseas for 48 years, I really appreciated the chef going out of his way to cook all the different dishes I requested for breakfast and dinner. The junior suite was spacious, had a comfortable bed, sports channels streaming and excellent room service. The rooms were cleaned and refreshed everyday to the highest standard. The service excellent throughout the hotel and was with a smile. Being quiet season, the weather was mild and we had the pool to ourselves for lap swimming By the time we left, we felt as though we were part of the family. We missed the hospitality when we arrived at a 5 star hotel in Colombo for 4 nights. Hopefully we will return one day.

Great facilities. Good selection of breakfast and dinner buffet menu. Excellent staff. Large rooms - we stayed in the junior suites.

The staff is really nice and the service is superb. Rooms are spacious. It is not on the beach front but very close. Along the beach there are many places offering sunbeds so not a big issue. The hotel needs a good renovation. Everything feels worn out including the rooms and public spaces. I was expecting a bit more for the price

Nice and tranquil. Friendly staff. Beautifully located The build itself . Plugs and switches in the wrong place. Things just don’t flow. I felt I was walking around looking for things whereas usually in hotels things have a flow.

The prices at the restaurant are very high compared with other restaurants in the area. As it is a resort, that is to be expected. Great places to eat are within walking distance.

we liked the pool though it didn’t seem very clean. It is heavily over priced. There are no prices quoted on the menu for dinner and breakfast. The prices on the pool menu are in accurate - despite the menu stating that there are additional taxes and fees , the bill was significantly higher than prices given on the menu. At our first breakfast, we chose a very small amount from the International menu ( no prices given) and we were charged the equivalent of £25 for two very minimal breakfasts. I complained and was given 20% off and subsequently only charged for one breakfast between us. The pillows on the bed were lumpy foam ones. Our least favourite hotel we stayed in inSri Lanka and double the cost of the other surrounding ( v swanky) hotels.

Free upgrade to Junior Suite with private Jacuzzi. Nice, spacious and clean room with good room facilities. Jacuzzi is very inviting to relax. Leafy surroundings and lake view. Very friendly staff. Al carte breakfast menu had varieties for a Western & SriLankan menu. Good location with eating places nearby. No direct access to beach. Need more variety for buffet breakfast. Al carte menu items are reasonably priced however the final price is much more with taxes added. At times automated power panels in the room is very confusing.

What a lovely place to stay. The staff is extremely friendly, they will do everything to make sure you have a good time in their resort. The pool is great with a view of the sunset over the lagoon. We've got a free upgrade to a huge room with hottub because it wasn't bussy in the Resort. We definitely recommend this place.

Lovely setting, great spacious room with amazing lagoon view, exceptionally helpful staff at reception, the restaurant and housekeeping- couldn’t fault their responsiveness. Food in the restaurant was very good, we ate from the a la carte menu - my partner had the Sri Lankan fish curry with assorted accompaniments - it was a feast! Nothing
