I didn't Ike it, I loved it! A hidden gem with a big garden, spatious rooms and great vibe. The facilities are not all fancy, some rooms are quite dark - but the super sweet host Fahard compensates for all eventual disadvantages. A very kind and adorable person, he is doing his best and even more to help you with everything and make your stay comfortable. He can help you with arranging a scooter and dolphin watching tour as well for a good price (cheaper than in the beach shops). I stayed there 8 days and would stay even longer because it felt completely like a family. I enjoyed every day there. Thank you Fahard for your limitless hospitality and such a nice place. It's not really a minus, but note that only few rooms have AC, other equipped just with a fan, which is not really sufficient in such a hot place like Trincomalee. But, God bless, Amila Guest has huge garden providing shade and cooling air.

Is very quiet place. Really nice host. Great that is common room, kitchen and share bathroom. Room was ok with mosquito net. Bathroom was clean. Near is the junction where you can catch the bus to the Centre. More hooks or shelves in the bathroom will be very useful.

Helpful staff. The room I had booked had no window, what I think is a must. The place was fully booked but since a few clients didn't show up, I could switch room. Than you for that.

The place is comfortable and quiet. There is a bike at disposal. There is a big supermarket nearby. Nothing.

Really helpful kind staff. A special thanks to Fahad, he goes the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay. The location is great, not touristic so a real local experience with an incredible selection of cheap restaurants very close. I stayed in the private en suite rooms, extremely good value, clean and comfortable. Nice big gardens to relax in. I highly recommend. ?
