Beautiful classic hotel on the city’ s main square Our room was on the first floor (one flight up) overlooking the plaza, so it was a little noisy. But we used our earplugs and slept well.

The location is the best in town - on the Plaza de Armas. The room was large and comfortable. A lot of locals hang out on the Plaza, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. So you can hear a mix of street sounds and chatter, especially if you have a room facing the Plaza. I'm not a light sleeper, so the noise did not bother me, and did prevent me from falling asleep around 11 pm. So if you are a light sleeper, get a room without a Plaza view, or go to bed around 11:30.

Hotel was in a great location, right across from the main plaza. Very safe and in an antique building. Rooms were well maintained but I couldn't get the AC to go below 20.5c but it was cool enough to sleep. Spa was disappointing. Both the wet and dry sauna were off and if you wanted to use them, you had to wait 30 minutes for them to heat up. Pool looked very well maintained, although I didn't use it. Front desk and security always very friendly. Hotel bar had live music at night, which was nice. Overall a solid and good experience. Breakfast was a buffet and they had made to order eggs if you requested (but you had to request; they won't proactively ask you). On occasion, they ran out of churros, french toast, and steamed vegetables but when I brought it to the attention of the manager, they promptly restocked the food. Just a minor blip.

.Beds were really comfy and the room was clean. I love that you can book the sauna area for an hour and have the entire area to yourself. The breakfast buffet was not bad but I would have expected better for a four star hotel

Location is excellent. The driver service with Mr. Pedro was superb, he's very knowledgeable of Trujillo and was able to take us to areas we felt safe, he's professional and kind. I highly recommend Mr. Pedro! n/a

The breakfast was the absolute best. Buffet style, with traditional peruvian food like Salchicha Huachana, Tamales, Tiradito, etc. The Capuccino is the worst I've ever had from all the countries and cities I've been in. They also confuse Capuccino with Latte. But that's it.

Lovely property right on Plaza de Armas. Beautiful blending of old colonial legacy and new amenities. Good soundproof windows and walls. Loved our view over the plaza and would not have wanted to stay anywhere else. Great bar and unbelievably (for us) totally enjoyed the karaoke happy hour! Some great fun in Spanish. Very safe area and near good restaurants. Nada
