Hampton Inn Tucson Downtown

We really enjoyed our stay there and we will definitely be coming back while our son is in college in Tucson

Two minor concerns….. First, check in and unload can be tricky as the drive is small and any more than two vehicles creates a back up. All parking is paid and via secure garage, so you check in, get your keys, then drive around the corner to garage access. Then you can unload and proceed to the elevators via the parking garage. A bit of a hassle, but secure, covered parking in this part of town is worth it. Second……. Well…… it’s a college town and it was Friday night and we had a few parties in the hallway and above us. Could hear loud music and voices and footsteps. Settled down about 1:30 or so. All in all a good value and convenient hotel to 4th Avenue and Broadway/Congress attractions.

Nice place to stay.

Great bedroom size and comfortable beds. Shower was a little light pressure and shampoo was out. Breakfast was decent but not fresh made. Good location.

Good place to stay when dropping your your college student off at U of A. Just wish the prices didn’t fluctuate so much based on events at u of A or I’d stay here more often.

Fantastic hotel and friendly staff

Great location, convenient parking, clean room. The shampoo in the shower was empty. I informed the front desk and ask for it to be refilled- that did not happen.

Hotel is near everything you need to be around, staff seems to be to worried about their phones.

Exceptional

Amazing team at hotel gave great service and recommendations. Breakfast was amazing and well serviced. Pool area was exceptional- great location and onsite parking was a plus. Rooms were clean and well maintained.

Our family stayed here for a wedding. It was very convenient to walk across the street for the ceremony. The property was perfect! The parking garage was a nice addition to not worry about finding parking and made our stay so convenient. We will definitely be back for another stay!

The hotel was in a good location downtown, and the breakfast was really good.

All staff were excellent! Helpful, polite, and friendly. Breakfast was good and location was convenient. In my reservation, I requested a room away from elevator, on an upper floor with view of cathedral and pool. Instead, we were assigned a room just across from housekeeping and the view was a brick wall - literally no view at all. Also, the noise from room directly above us in 419 was extrememly disturbing (sounded like furniture being slammed against a wall, pounding on floor) for hours. It began before we even went to bed and woke us up several times. We thought it was just a one off wild guest, but it continued the next day so we requested a move to a higher floor with a view of the cathedral, per my original request. Front desk staff was apologetic and happy to oblige. He was kind and courteous and we appreciated his assistance. Also, the AC was having intermittent issues, making loud noise and not cooling at times. The lobby and lounge was also having AC problems and they were working on it for multiple days.

Extra fees not aware of

Check in was a breeze and very clean. Much apreciated after a long drive.
