Little Gem Hotel Tulum La Veleta

Private and calm

The hotel very nice and peaceful throughout our stay. The staff was friendly and provided recommendations for local spots for food. We enjoyed having the little cookies provided daily after housekeeping. :) Over all it was a good stay but the following recommendations may help to improve further guests stay. - The floor type in the bathroom is slippery when wet therefore a shower mat will help to prevent accident. - A TV in the room. All though not a deal breaker since we spend majority of our time outside the room, however it would be nice to have a TV to watch when we were in.

Nothing!

A lot of coffee shops and restaurants close by, clean rooms and friendly staff. There are huge holes in the streets around the hotel. We damaged our rental when driving to the hotel. The rooms were clean but facilities seem a bit run down with faucets collecting rust.

Charming and rustic. Felt private and safe, close to restaurants and shops. I like more blankets, but it was warm enough. Just like having option of more blankets.

The atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and assisted us with taxis and local recommendations. Housekeeping did a great job every day. Beautiful boutique hotel. The only thing was the rough/bumpy roads surrounding the hotel, but even that wasn’t that bad and not the hotel’s fault.

A tv to watch Netflix or something

Really a little Gem in the bustle of Tulum. Nicely furnished Rooms, a nice pool and amazing staff. Special thanks to Néstor who did a great job. We should have stayed longer and do absolutely recommend this place.

I can only recommend. Friendly staff, great breakfast next to the hotel, very nice room with pool access.

Lovely design, very clean. Extremely secure. Quiet. We had a lovely stay. The road to get to the hotel is really bad and a long walk to the center. The roads are not lit very well

Beautiful place, and a spacious room, with a nice little balcony. Very friendly staff, and coffee/water available at the entrance, with a communal seating area. You need to walk a bit to access the centre and main areas for restaurants etc, but that wasn't an issue for us. The only issues we had are not in the control of the hotel: There was loud music until late on a Friday night, but that seemed to come from a neighbouring flat. And the road access to the hotel isn't in a good state. However, that's only for the very last stretch so it's just a matter of going slowly.

Great hotel in Tulum

Location was excellent. Within 2 blocks there are many good restaurants. This is a quiet and peaceful place. Lovely pool area.

Literally a gem, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and lovely. Despite being away from the main Avenida Tulum, Valeta has its own lovely feel with fab restaurants close by. We stayed an extra night as it was so good here.

Perfect room, amazing staff who help us a lot!

The staff was very friendly, and when I had to seek medical attention during my stay, they were incredibly supportive. There is nothing specifically to highlight; the stay was great.
