We loved the neighborhood. It was in an artsy part of town with lots of street art/murals. There were several restaurants and cafes nearby. And it was just a few blocks from the main boulevard through town. We loved that it was away from the "touristy" part of Tulum and much closer to people who actually lived in the city. The inner courtyard and rooftop garden where nice, along with the adjacent cafe that was open for breakfast and lunch. Our room had a bathroom sink and a little kitchenette sink. The room also had a mini-fridge and A/C. The staff was very nice. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room to reheat what was kept in the fridge.

The hotel looks like magic - very playful and beautiful! We loved the atmosphere! The host was friendly and gave us a handful of useful hints on what to see best around Tulum and how to best get there. Also it is perfectly located in the center and close to the ADO bus station which makes traveling so easy.

Great location in town, cute, clean and comfy. A bit outdated and it’s in a street corner so it can get noisy from delivery trucks and motorcycles.

Maison Tulum is very charming and within a block of the main thoroughfare in Tulum near shops and restaurants. We loved the hammocks and seating areas on the upper terrace for guests and especially enjoyed breakfast at the attached cafe downstairs the two mornings we were there. We also enjoyed easy and safe parking on the street at the entrance to Maison Tulum. The noise from the street! Maison Tulum is very close to the bus station and traffic noise can't be helped.

I stayed at Maison Tulum for six days and will stay there again if I go back to Tulum. Guillermo is very attentive and works hard to keep everything in order. Maxi and Juan keep the place impecable. I loved having the coffee shop downstairs and there I had the best shrimp tacos I've ever had. I also loved being so closed to the center of town and ADO. The weather, but that has nothing to do with them. I was there during the coldest time in many years and because I was recuperating from a long illness, didn't go to the beach.

The room and the hotel was so colorful and eclectic! Guillermo was very nice and helpful switching a room for us (to get 2 beds) and holding our bags after we checked out. We did think the Continental breakfast would have been more than the yogurt and toast in the room, however the restaurant onsite made us a very delicious breakfast (extra cost but competitive prices!). Definitely would stay here again. Loved the vibes! Thank you! Not an issue for us, but there is no elevator so be prepared to climb steps for some rooms.

Maison Tulum is a charming, unique and convenient, small hotel in the heart of Tulum. Well managed by Guillermo and Flora, they helped us make our 2 1/2 days in Tulum very memorable. Loved having the breakfast and lunch Cafe within the hotel. Had some of the best dinners recommended by Flora, all within walking distance. Nothing...all good

The breakfast provided was sub par, however the attached cafe had absolutely delicious food and the coffee was superb. The cafe's breakfast was not included in the price of the room.

Beautiful and full of old fashioned Mexican charm Nothing

Airport shuttle wasn't really a thing - it's only a few blocks from the ADO bus terminal, but otherwise no airport shuttle that we were made aware of.

Location was fantastic and staff was exemplarité. The bed was very comfortable and rom was spacieuse. The grounds were stunning. Breakfast provided was sparse, so we purchased breakfast at the adjoining café where the coffee and food were delicious.

Very creative and artistic hotel and grounds.

The hotel is in a terrific location, close to shops and restaurants and not far from the Archeological Zone and the beach. The place has a well-tended, beautiful courtyard, which is lush with tropical plants and fish, and is very tranquil.
-
It was a charmingly decorated informal place with a large comfortable bed in a large room. A very good breakfast was available in the attached restaurant. Nothing much to dislike. It was a bit noisy, but that's the general area where the hotel is located.

The hotel is very cute and colourful, well located in Tulum town. The person running the place day to day was very friendly and helpful, sorting out some initial issues (air conditioning) to our satisfaction. The air conditioning in the room we were allocated did not work, but this was quickly sorted out as we were upgraded to a different and better room for the rest of our stay (and the initial room we were allocated had the air conditioning fixed the next day)

AC can't cool down the room. For 2 people, for breakfast we got 2 pieces of bread, each, one jam and one butter. False advertisement for breakfast included.

The property is insanely beautiful, all built up by the fantastic owner. The area is safe and quiet and close to downtown Also the breakfast was AMAZING Nothing, everything perfect

This place was extremely charming. Guillermo, the staff member who greeted us upon arrival, was friendly and kind and helpful. It was extremely conveniently located within easy walking distance of the local ADO bus station, which made things much easier for us. AC worked well, mini fridge in the room was helpful. Very beautiful plants, friendly cats, good location. Very clean and felt very safe. Honestly I loved this place. If I had to choose one thing to say I disliked, it would only be that I did not know that there would be cats there, and I have a cat allergy. It didn’t really pose a problem as I just avoided them, but they were friendly.
