Staff was very friendly and welcoming! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is central and walkable to many restaurants and shops in town. Recommend : )

Comfortable, friendly, safe.

Jorge and Lorena were very attentive and helpful. The location is great, close to the bus terminal and close to the meeting point for main tour companies. The room was tidy and clean throughout our entire stay. We had a little problem with cockroaches, but Lorena promptly helped us to solve the problem.

Location, there is a fruteria right in front, walk distance to the main street, aafe and quiet area, they give forgotten stuff free to other guest çs which is a very well thought reuse system Nothing

Really nice, clean and well maintained place, the very large rooftop was our highlight! If you want to enjoy a beer on the terrace or store it in the shared fridge, be aware that they don’t allow it and have signs everywhere. The rental bikes are not in the best condition. Overall we felt very safe here and would recommend staying here!

Casa Almendro has a great location, just about 10 minutes walk from the central bus stop. Very warm hospitality and very clean in all the property. You can rent a bike just there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful rooftop. Nice La Frutteria just across the street with fresh juices and big choice of fruits.

The location was great, and the rooms were very comfortable. Free parking right outside the door was nice too. The rooftop terrace was really nice to relax on at night. We only stayed 1 night so not really anything negative to say.

I loved the hotel. It has a nice terrace on top with a common area and kitchen. Generally it has a very warm atmosphere, where you would feel like home. Recomended for longer stays. Location is just 10 minutes from the city center.

The chilled out nature of the place, the terrace with all the Hammocks and chairs, the communal kitchen and fridge so organised! (There were some basics available to use for free too; oil, salt, some spices, coffee filters). We liked the central location; less than 15 min walk to the ADO terminal, and only 2 min from the main blvd, immediately across the road from a fruteria and corner shop selling fresh juices and all the fruit and veg you'd need. It took us about 20, 25 min to walk to cenote calavera from there. And about 15-20 min to walk to the massive soriana hipermercado (along unpaved roads, its on the way back/ to the cenote). Drinking water available in each corridor! A place to hang your wet clothes. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were well laid out and the aircon worked well. It was really nice to have the option of using lamps and reading lights instead of just the big overhead lights. Oh, and in our double room (2 double beds) there was a hammock! I loved that! The kingsize room (one ks bed) the bed was huge! Is a central location so there was quite a bit of noise from outside the hostel. Just to be aware; it has a no alcohol policy throughout the hostel. This was the only place we stayed that had waterproof mattress protectors. This is a useful and practical thing. But they were rather noisy and creaky, and not so breathable so you got a bit hot in the bed if the aircon wasn't on.

One night stay en route to Bacalar. Would highly recommend. Great value. Spacious, comfortable rooms. Very tastefully decorated.

Reception area, covered roof top area, water jug close by. Location initially was suspect, but we did not experience any problems. But, the worst part was the King bed it felt like sleeping on bare wood. We both were up numerous times during the night to get rid of the aches.

Very comfortable, the staff were very nice, the top floor is very nice with a very complete shared kitchen.

Clean, comfortable but overpriced like everything in Tulum.

The hot shower was very good. The temperature was good and the amount of water was good, too.
