Room too hot

Breakfast was excellent, the space was clean and simple. Staff were wonderful and were very kind to hold our parties luggage until our bus was leaving

Very good and nice place, clean, quiet. Wonderful quality.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was very comfortable, and they even provided a small electric fan in case the room became too warm, although I didn't need to use it. The location was excellent, as it is close to both the train station and the river.

Very good place to stay. It has all the facilities. I couldn’t connect to wifi. I couldn’t find the password anywhere. It was late at night so i didnt text to get the password. Otherwise its perfect

Great location, close to the city center. They serve a nice breakfast, although nothing spectacular. Shower was good. Staff was friendly and efficient. No air conditioning, the room was very hot. There was a fan, and the windows could open, but there wasn't an insect screen at the window. Also, the room was very small, just enough room for 3 beds. The shared bathroom was also quite small and basic. All in all, it was alright, but for the price we paid, I expected a higher level of comfort.

Booked a room for a one night stayover from Friday to Saturday. The double room was quite spacious and beds decently comfortable. The room have quite poor sound insulation but the household rules regarding quiet night times were followed by all guests, so no issues with that. I checked in late and was provided with all the information regarding checkin via messages. Outside door is operated by a electronic code lock and inside you will find a locker boxes with keys. They serve breakfast in a dining area. Breakfastis simple yet good and filling enough: boiled eggs, porridge, cereal, toasts, salad, some sweets. Rooms were cleaned decently and one clean big towel was provided. The were several toilets on each floor and each had a toilet and a shower corner. No queues nor issues with using them. The location is at the edge of downtown area. If you travel by car, then street public parking is the only option. Right outside the hostel, there are many park lines along the street and the parking area is designated as Second District, meaning currently 1,8euro per hour during workdays and saturdays until evening time (night is free). It is a bit old building with somewhat outdated interior. Some renovation with improvement for social areas would be a lovely update in the future. Maybe consider including a small towel as well for hand/face wash?

Great location, fairly cheap, and (basic) breakfast is included. Hosts are very friendly. Luggage storage is available until 16h. Clean and hospitable.

They have a good breakfast too. Q Bathroom was a bit small ?

The cleanness is very satisfying; Room, good enough; kitchen, well placed; breakfast, very decent. the noise was from the main road is disturbing.

They have "traditional Finnish" locks, as the staff explained to me, which means that you have to push the door prior to revolving the key. Never seen anything like that before. Locks are in good condition, but one must know the secret.

Breakfast and room were sufficient for a one night stay. Breakfast room was quite small.

It had all the basic amenities, staff was super nice and everything was clean. They also let us keep our bags after check out for a while so we could walk the city before our departure. Photos showed the place warmer and with more space, but lighting and camera angles did a lot to show that image. Actual place felt less welcoming and more comfortable, which raised our expectations.

I would have liked a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom. And there was no dairy free yogurt.

Simple, but still quite nice and comfortable. Very clean. Great breakfast and friendly personnel. No elevator (minor nitpick though). No AC, so can get a bit stuffy during Summer heat waves.

Relatively close to both city center and train station. The place looks like a fleabag from the outside, and the inside matches. To enter the building, you need to press a code and then lift your luggage up a couple of steps and immediately down a few steps. Once inside, you discover the b&b is on the third and fourth floors and there is no elevator. Another code to get your room key out of a box. I struggled for several minutes to get the key to open my room. My room was like a prison cell, with two single beds sadly appointed. There were no sheets on my bed, just a mattress pad and a thin polyester quilt. Pillows I was reluctant to put my head on. Tiny desk difficult to use. The shared bathrooms are two phone-booth-sized toilet-sink-shower combos; you have to pull a curtain to avoid soaking your clothes, and if you turn around while showering you will inevitably hit the shower control with your hips and either burn or freeze yourself depending on which way you turn. No hair dryer, of course, but there was a fan sitting on the desk. No one at desk when I arrived except a young boy playing. Other kids (of owner, I think) running around, one crying. Strong fish smell from kitchen next to my room was gross. Breakfast is the poorest quality; I was reluctant to put anything other than a boiled egg in my mouth. No one at desk for checkout either. This place should be avoided unless you cannot afford any other place. My mistake was waiting too long to book; there are not many real hotels in Turku.

Location is very good and friendly staff. Rooms haven't bathroom so we want to work little, that's the only problem otherwise everything's very good.

Old building, ha stairs, and it was a 3rd and 4th floors. It wasn't a good experience for me.

The cleanliness. The staff's friendliness and the ample breakfast.
