Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tuscaloosa East - Cottondale by IHG

The only bad thing was the breakfast. Eggs burned. Gravy dried up. Pancake mix ran out. Biscuits hard.

Very nice hotel

Hotel was nice and clean.

Bathroom was not clean. There were clean towels but they did not clean the bathroom. Will not stay again.

Exceptional

The room was mid. There weren’t enough towels and wash clothes. You couldn’t call the front desk because the phone was not connected to the wall. The provided body wash was empty. My daughter had a live roach in her bag the morning we left, and there was red mold in the shower. They had jacked up the prices for UA move in and BID day.

The room was average at best. Furniture broken and had stain on the side table. Bed was very uncomfortable with very soft pillows. Rust in the shower. Very poor breakfast items selection and even coffee was not good. Very disappointing.

Very clean, great staff. Expedia had a glitch in the virtual card payment for 6 reservations, but Kim at the check in desk handled everyone very well. Breakfast was good. parking was good. The hotel was easy to find and away from the city traffic.

The room was crispy, smelled good coming into the hotel very nice staff and a breakfast was awesome.

The hotel concierge was very helpful, kind and respectful. The free breakfast was amazing and a real time saver. The only thing I would change in the room is to replace the carpet with vinal plank flooring and remove the chaise lounge as it was stained.

It was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was a great location to everything we came to do. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was great. We will happily stay there again when in town. The breakfast was very good but they ran out of some items. We were there 4 nights and that were not replenished while we were there.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent; being tucked behind a small forest away from the road makes it wonderfully quiet and perfect for a good night's rest. While the room was generally clean, I did find a hair in the bed, which was disappointing and raised concerns about the thoroughness of the housekeeping. Regarding breakfast, the hot food was well-prepared, but the overall selection was a bit underwhelming compared to other hotels in the network, specifically due to the limited yogurt options and lack of warm pastries. Despite these minor issues, I had positive experience and would definitely stay here again.

Quiet, restful, good breakfast, restaurants nearby! A+

Staff was great greeting immediately. Pillow cases were wrinkled and couldn’t get breakfast due to someone having an accident. That was the biggest disappointment.
