Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tuscaloosa East

It wasn’t our first choice to stay here, but we were in a bind and needed a hotel room during move-in weekend for our college kid. The room was clean, The fan and 2nd light in the bathroom didn’t work. Bed wasn’t very comfortable but, was clean. Definitely not worth the $200. I paid for the night.

Staff was friendly, but it was bad at the beginning of the stay because the door key cards wouldn't work so I had to go to front desk an they had to let me in my room every time I left, then my room didn't have a refrigerator at first, but after first night, they fixed the door & got me a refrigerator an the rest of the stay was good!!! I didn't like it's not enough patio space to seat outside an I hate they don't have a pool, but I love the location, it would've been a excellent stay if it wasn't for the problems at the beginning, but I would stay again!!! PS: the water the shower wouldn't get hot just warm I didn't like that!!

Clean room. Friendly accommodating staff. Near my relations home. Room was a bit musty smelling but did clear up once air conditioning was running

We booked 2 nights and they don’t clean your room for next day. It’s also smelly.

Just okay The room air conditioner was not pulling the humidity out of the room. Room was muggy.

I just got wike up in the middle of the night by someone trying to get in the door.

Breakfast was pretty bad. Dry biscuits, not much else to choose from The room is really humid and needs some fixing up

Friendly staff, 13min away from UA, plenty of parking Light over bench near window was leaking, I put the ice bucket with bag under the drip, bathroom was so damp..towels were damp, ceiling had water condensation on the ceiling. mattress was horrible. There was a dehumidifier in the room, but i couldn't get it to work. No iron, but the front desk provided one when I went up there with no problem. Around 4AM, a man and woman were arguing/fighting outside my window.
