An incredibly warm and welcoming family who made me feel at home from the very beginning. Their energy and their home were both beautiful, and their hospitality was truly exceptional. Thanks to them, I was able to build a genuine connection with Bali and its culture. I’m so grateful I chose to stay here. Especially if you’ve traveled from the other side of the world and are far away from home, it’s a wonderful place to spend your first days while settling into Bali. Larus also offers fantastic tour options, making it even easier to explore the island. I didn’t have enough time this trip, but I’ll definitely join one of his temple tours next time. Nothing, really. I had a wonderful stay and everything met my expectations.

Great location and very clean rooms. I stayed for four days and was impressed that the staff provided daily cleaning. It’s excellent value for the price! One tip: if you feel the heat easily, make sure to check if your specific room comes with air conditioning, as some might not.

Cramped and a bit derelict

Breakfast was great — the banana pancakes were a highlight! The coffee was also very good, and everything came at a great price. It’s a family business, I like the atmosphere there, they are very kind and friendly. and I honestly liked everything about it. The location is excellent: close to restaurants, ATMs, and coffee shops, just off the main street but still in a quiet area. You only need to cross a small lane to get there. An awesome place to stay. You will feel like home.

Wonderful stay, very clean and comfortable, and the family here are incredibly kind.

Very spacious room, clean and quiet. The location is convenient with many eateries and spas around. No fridge in the room, but it's not a big issue.

The property was beautiful. Located in a peaceful ally way in the heart of Ubud. Fantastic location, and just tucked away enough to be protected from the busy streets of downtown. Gorgeous views from our room. And the family was so nice! Nothing!

The property is run by a very nice family. The homestay is balinese so you would feel exactly that you are traveling in Bali. The breakfast was really good.

The people here were the best part, I was only here for a night but they were all so welcoming, in an excellent location, amazing value for the price you pay!
-
The location was very prime and is a good and affordable stay for back packers . Didn’t had any toiletries and air condition (already mentioned in the description . No kettle , no kitchen , no cutlery so unless you have to stay outside whole day it won’t be a good bargain.

Good location, tucked away so it is quiet at night. Shower water pressure was nonexistent

Loved the cheap breakfast options and location is great. A lovely family is running the place. Worth the cheap price. The room was hot since it only had a fan in the ceiling and the air coming from outside couldn't be blocked. The shower-bathroom combination wasn't the best and no soap available. There wasn't curtains to block some of the windows. You'll need earplugs and an eyemask to sleep properly.

Exceptional

The emplacement is amazing, less than 10 min walk from the Monkey Forest. The hosts are great and the rooms large and comfy. The price is also really cheap, the room is cleaned every day and the towels are changed every 2-3 days. I totally recommend this place +++ N/A

Very good

This was the perfect place to stay during my four days in Ubud. The room was clean and comfortable, and the family were very friendly and welcoming. I loved starting my days with their breakfast in my room. My favorite thing about this place is the location. The Monkey Sanctuary is less than a ten-minute walk, plus a lot of the famous restaurants I wanted to check out like Hujan Locale (high-class modern Indinesian) and Ibu Oka (for the best Babi Guling) were all within range too. For all that convenience you can't beat their rates. Stay here! No complaints

10/10 budget-friendly stay, lovely family

The room was big, the hot water was on point

We stayed at Bella House Monkey Forest from January 25 to 27, and we were really impressed. The location is fantastic, and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and offered at an incredibly low price—such a great deal! The room didn’t have air conditioning, but there was a very strong (though loud) ventilator, which helped keep things cool.

A very family run facility staff very helpful and the elder spoke Spanish too. His son and nephew very well spoken, polite, helpful and very friendly indeed . Maybe the dining area could of been better
