Great breakfast with various options and a cook pancake machine. The pool was also squeaky clean, albeit closed rather soon at 9pm.

Our stay at Holiday Inn Express Ukiah (August 17–18, 2026) was completely ruined by unlivable conditions and shocking management dishonesty. Upon arrival, our room had an unbearable, foul odor. The evening staff acknowledged this and sprayed the ventilation system to mask it. Instead of an equivalent room, we were downgraded to a smaller one with a minimal discount. Furthermore, despite having 5 people, we were crammed into a 4-bed layout; even though my wife is 6 months pregnant and urgently needed proper rest, she was forced to share a single bed with two others. The next morning, the menager was extremely rude and outright lied, claiming the room never smelled. Worse yet, he was in the lobby the previous night watching our ordeal, yet hid his identity, had staff lie that he wasn't there, and pretended to make phone calls to "authorities" while refusing to help. When confronted, he first denied being at the hotel, then claimed he wasn't on duty, and falsely accused us of threatening to call the police. When we demanded to check the security cameras to prove our innocence, he refused. Avoid this hotel if you expect basic cleanliness, honesty, and respect from management.

Staff was very helpful and quick at check in, pool was clean and well kept, breakfast was good, wasn't a huge fan of the cheese in them but it was a courtesy breakfast, all in all would definitely stay again

Great stay

Nice, quiet. Slight odor in the room. Breakfast bar was the best I've been to in a long while - hot food, cereal, pancakes, pastries, juice and coffee.
-
No coffee maker in the room. Coffee is available in the lobby, but I like getting up and having my coffee in my pajamas. I don't want to have to get dressed and go to the lobby for my first cup of the day.

Nice and clean location with helpful staff and great breakfast

Great hotel, walls very thin..hard time sleeping guest upstairs very loud with thumping all night.. or what sounded like the room was being remodeled.. other than that everything was good.
