Property is beautiful and well maintained.

Beautifully landscaped to respect the natural environment. The entire resort is designed for relaxation - meandering walking paths, many little sitting spaces sprinkled about the gardens, fir pits. Exceptionally dog friendly. Great breakfast included but also additional items available. It appears all the villas and cabins have lovely views. We stayed in 7 and it has a fire pit extending out on a boardwalk from the cabin. We stayed an extra night and were moved to Villa 11 which has a separate bedroom and kitchen, living room with a private garden with fire pit. We booked this last minute and got a fantastic deal from this site. Little things for management to consider: the rain showers are more annoying than luxurious. As with all of this type, if you don't want to wash you hair you have to only be ½ under, and unless it is a very strong and large volume flow it is too weak to really enjoy. These heads are so high the experience comes off as meh. Couldn't find the bedside light switch so had to get out of bed to turn it on and off. The projector is a fun idea but couldn't get it to work. No hair dryer. I was sitting in the afternoon in one of the little gazebos trying to be 'contemplative' and the music loudly coming from the empty outdoor bar area was blasting upbeat party music like 'Freak Out'. Maybe tone down the music in the daytime to allow guests to relax and turn it up later to 'get the party started'? Loved the dog focus as we had our doodle with us. Here's a suggestion - give dog welcome kit with a dog blanket, a dark coloured dog towel to wipe off paws, a couple dog bowls and a few treats. The above didn't take away from a wonderful experience. Just things I would want to know as a manger for improvement ideas.

To start with, the grounds are stunning. The landscaping is serene and superb. There are fields of lavender and sage. There is a little fairy garden. There is a walk with sayings in Spanish and English. The room was clean and had a very nice view. The staff was very attentive. The view from the pool was really nice (but caveats, below). The restaurant was excellent but expensive, and the breakfast restrictions for guests were strange (see below). There were lots of little things that were strange. The "superior cabin" had almost no storage space; no dresser, just one small closet with a few hangars. We had to live out of our suitcases, which I don't prefer. The pool was murky and very cold. The jacuzzi was only heated by request, and took about 45 minutes lead time to heat. Oddly, you could not charge anything to your room, everything had to be paid for at the moment. Breakfast options for guests were odd. You had a choice of two rather specific egg dishes. You got free refills on coffee but only one little teabag ("free") if you wanted tea; they ask you to pay for a second cup. I found it rather stingy and would much have preferred a "per diem" so I could choose a wider selection. Finally the toilet in our room clogged at the slightest provocation, and refilled very slowly.

Our room was very comfortable and the restaurant/bar was amazing! We enjoyed the gym, the view from our room, our private fire pit, and the delicious included breakfast! We also enjoyed the gym, but it could have used some better cleaning and it should open earlier. The pool was lovely and we tested the water 1 day and it was warm, but when we went back to use it the next day, it was freezing, so we were not able to enjoy it. The roads to get to the property are abysmal and really detracted from our enjoyment of Valle de Guadeloupe, unfortunately.

The first loft/room was big, had quite a bit of light and the architecture was interesting. We booked a select, king room. I found the place unhygienic and smells were covered by plug in deodorizers. First night was impossible to sleep due to leaky AC and the water leaked made us allergic Cleaning and maintenance was requested. When returning later in the day AC was still leaking and we were moved to another area. It was the last thing they could offer they said. This was behind the restaurant and lacked privacy, kitchen staff walking by til 10:30 and early at six. Wanted to drink a glass of wine and see the stars and staff continuously walking back and forth setting off a motion lamp. Saw several people walking by many times outside my bedroom window as I walked out of the bathroom, I was uncomfortable and on edge. I had to take my clothes into the bathroom to change and get privacy. The view was of the disposal area and something like a shed. I took photos I was so disappointed and sad to have spent money and wasted vacation time I could have spent at a better place at a more private cleaner place. My clothes smell of those chemical plug ins used to mask smells, two in each loft we stayed in! I believe I should get a refund.

We loved the breakfast included and the fire pit. The jacuzzi was up a lot of stairs and took a long time to heat.

  • Engine customer Jan 2026

Wonderful restaurant on site with beautiful live music, jacuzzi was nice, fire pit, and so were the views from our room! The shower was open (no curtain or door), making it cold to shower. It rained during our visit, so it would have been nice to watch a move, but the room had no TV. Also, I’d expect for lights to be dimmable for a hotel of this caliber.

The room was nice and the property is in a really nice location. Breakfast was good, though dinner was super expensive and the worst meal we had in a week. We didn’t have wifi in our unit for an entire day because the concierge kept gaslighting us and telling us that it actually works, or that it was the weather. It took almost 24 hours of us showing evidence repeatedly for them to agree to call a technician and figure out that the issue was an unplugged router. The hotel explained that the wifi often doesn’t work anyways, so do with that what you will. When we arrived half of the unit was soaking wet with cleaning supplies which got all over my baby. There was an empty beer bottle sitting on the patio. The water filtration system wasn’t working. The water in the kitchen sink didn’t get hot and no dishwasher so had to wash dishes in the bathroom. The “kitchen” was completely bare-no forks or knives, no freezer, None of the equipment in the gym was usable. There is no tv and just a projector, which was nice but complicated to set up (not to mention the projector requires wifi to work). Nothing was explained in the welcome book, which just contains spa treatments and tour bookings. The door made a couple loud beeps every time we opened it (even from the inside), which was really inconvenient with a sleeping baby. The worst part is that we booked a loft thinking that would be best for the views, but they gave us the unit next to the road, so half of our view was of the fence and road. There were always people walking along the road right next to our window so it was sometimes loud and there was no privacy if we kept the blinds open. I wish would have booked a

The eco friendly restrooms. Just not use to throwing TP in the trash. Plus there was an odor that came through the drains.

Clean, beautiful property! Amazing views! Great, attentive staff. We travelled into the area after a rain storm and the roads were REALLY rutted. You drive through dirt road to get to and from the property. I think in good weather this would not have been an issue.
