The hotel is nicely located at the cenetr of old Varanasi, close to the ghats. It is an excellent point for discovering the city, but it has a downside, it can not be reached by a tuktuk or taxi. The room was basic, but OK size, with comfortable beds. The staff and the manager were extremely friendly and welcoming. They helped us in any need we had. For example, the machine for paying by credit card was not working, but the owner has fixed it for us so that we could pay by card. Since the staff was so welcoming, I do not want to write bad comments, but some things need to be said. The room was not clean, the bed linen was dirty and they have serious problems with the maintenance, pluming and electricity.

Near to Ghat Overpriced small room. It is not at all hotel but cheap dharamshala. No lift. No service in the morning. All people were on bed sleeping. Short of staff. Difficult to locate the hotel. They will send people to pick you up who are clue less.

Close to the temple and ghat. Filthy room and linen. Staff attitude is pathetic. NO EDTPOS payment option. They want cash only making it difficult for the guest. Manager said the card machine was sent for repairs 2 days ago. Hahhaha crap. Access to hotel is almost impossible as it is situated 500m down a alleyway that's full with filth and no room to walk. Room rates are a ripoff. God bless the next guest.

Gaurav who worked in the hotel was helpful. He made my stay more pleasant and comfortable by providing a kettle, shampoo and soap when asked for. I was supplied with a large water butt every few days so I had a good supply of safe drinking water, and didn't need to buy plastic bottles of water. He also supplied a cable for my phone and another cabinet to rest my case on. The staff were helpful with requests. Bed was comfortable and linen was refreshed regularly. Room was quiet and had air conditioning. Quiet location. The approach to the hotel was at times difficult to negotiate because of motorbike traffic in a very narrow street. Lots of excrement on pavements daily. Unpleasant in those ways. The room was basic, not as nice as photos. The room was smaller than I was told, approx 3.5 metres by 4.5 metres, plus bathroom. No desk, or wardrobe. No hairdryer as advertised. One very small chair to sit on other than bed. No view outside, very small curved 'balcony' space big enough to dry a very few items of clothes only, looked out on railings and walls. Breakfast unappealing, but chai was good!
