Palace Grand Hotel Varese

There was no AC in the indoor restaurant and breakfast area, it was very hot inside during a heatwave. Also the pool was a bit warm especially towards the end of the day.

The rooms felt a bit austere.

The hotel suppose to be not more then 3 star hotel , the maintenance a very bed , everything is old fashioned

Always a nice stop before going to Milano. A very nice characteristic hotel with a rich history. Now staying with the nice weather enjoying the garden and swimming pool. Great breakfast and also dinner and drinks are good. An overnight we appreciate before going further.

The room was very comfortable and beautiful. The grounds and space were also very hospitable and lovely. The staff were all kind and helpful. All spaces were clean and spacious. Breakfast was wonderful and bountiful. The pool bar offers plastic cups to take to the poolside however, it would be nice if it came with some stuzzichini like they do if you stay at the bar.

Loved the vintage classy feel of the place. A refreshing change from all the modern hotels we’ve been to. Clean, comfortable, great views, fantastic breakfast options and friendly, accommodating staff. The pillows were a little hard. A pillow menu is always a nice option, as everyone likes different pillows. Neither coffee machine at breakfast made very hot coffee.

Breakfast was incredible - the food, the view, and generally was more than we expected. You truly get the full experience staying here. The room was very clean, very comfortable, and felt like a little luxury. The hotel upgraded our room at no cost - we loved it! Thank you!

Beautiful location, spectacular view, helpful staff nothing to complain

I didn't have breakfast...though it looked okay, not great. Too much of a hurry, but the coffee was coming from an automatic machine which was not to standard I think...so I went out. The room was spacious and lovely, and the bathroom very nice. Staff was not so friendly on check in...insisting on me giving an email so that they could market to me, which is something I never do, and did not this time either, but they kept pushing and being vaguely untruthful about it. Don't like that. They made up some excuse about having to contact me should have to, perhaps if I left something, but I was like, you already can through booking.com--you don't need my email...I don't want messages from you

Very outdated we spent night to be close enough to airport. The room was clean but had few insects on floor and bed

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and perfect.Great service the staff was friendly, professional and helpful in every situation and need. Super dog friendly.We could always find a place for us with our dog with no issues.
