Staff was friendly The beds are very cheap., the heating was off, the shower had next to no hot water, no parking facilities nearby, people smoked in their room and elevator

Very basic but very clean hotel. Literally needed a bed to sleep whilst travelling and this was perfect for that. The location was a bit out of the way and having no parking was troublesome although parking was found on the street after a short while.

It was clean. Basic but had everything necessary for a short stop over. Easy access to the centre of town by bus or 25 mins walk. The non smoking room smelt heavily of nicotine. Not just someone who'd had a crafty fag, but layers upon layers of nicotine ingrained. The air con didn't work and you couldn't open the window because of the smell from outside.

Cheapest hotel with decent amenities in the Varese province. Good location: about 1.5 km from the train station and the center. No breakfast offered but right in front there is probably the best breakfast bar in all of Varese. The property very kindly let me checkout late, as I was super busy with a few things, and actually felt sorry I disturbed them. The room was clean and had all the basics. If you need to take back groceries at the end of the street there's the Iper which is the most famous mall in Varese. Just something minor: call the property ahead as the price is a bit cheaper than on Booking. For the rest I have no complaints about the place and I'll be back soon.
