Good location, attraction and restaurants pretty close The only problem was the AC, which was sometimes too hot, making it feel like not having it on at all.

Great location and helpful front desk

Great location overall. We had the junior suite and it was large with plenty of space and excellent AC, which was important as it was so hot at the time of our visit. When we first arrived the back alley entrance felt a bit sketchy, and I got the impression one of the receptionists used her personal WhatsApp to ask for photos of our passports. I was glad we didn't send them because the non-English speaking receptionist, who wasn't around when we got there which was confusing as we didn't know how to get into our room, seemed frustrated when I wasn't ready to hand them over for scanning immediately and I had to give them anyway. It wasn't a great first impression overall. I also felt like the place was a bit creepy.

    The design Not having elevator

It's Venice, so the hotel was a little dated but not in a bad way. If you're expecting modern, this is not it. It had old time charm and quaintness. The room was spacious and clean. The fact you needed to pay the VAT cost upon check in was not included in any correspondence that I remember. Providing this information in advance would be helpful as the guest would arrive with cash instead of having to walk around the corner to the ATM. It was good thing it was very close.

The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were extremely responsive, helpful and friendly. Central Venice but still a quiet area for sleeping.

  • Engine customer Apr 2026

Overpriced for the condition of the facility. Reception has limited availability and finding it is difficult.

  • Engine customer Apr 2026

No one at reception most of the time, but easy to reach via WhatsApp so not really an issue.

Not really a welcoming room when you arrive kind of hard to find

  • Engine customer Apr 2026

Clean, helpful contact, nice location The woman is the morning checking documents, check in, etc. was loud and rude to other guests, very unprofessional. The woman in the afternoon was much nicer.

Great location close to Rialto bridge, very helpful host, and room 204 for the remaining three nights of our four night stay was very nice. We booked a suite and were initially given room 205 where we spent the first night. We arrived late because our train was delayed so we came in around 10 PM and although we had a little bit of trouble with the directions our host Martina was so kind when we called her and she walked us through how to get to the location and she stayed on the phone with us as we entered the room. She was very kind but when we entered the room it was so blazing hot like a sauna and we were still on the phone with her and she told us how to turn off the heat. We were exhausted and wanted to go to sleep and the bed was as hard as a rock. We live in Italy and have traveled all over Europe and we can honestly say that the bed was extremely hard even though she was kind enough to have provided extra pillows in advance due to her being notified about a previous injury I had. The bathroom in room 205 was very difficult to navigate because you had to step up very high and at night if you're not used to such a step you could fall and get hurt; also the toilet seat was not properly adjusted so it kept moving around. To her credit Martina solved the problem the next day and said we could switch to room 204 which was bigger, and much more attractively decorated, and, most importantly for us, it had a bathroom on the same level as the rest of the room. Also, the bed was a bit more comfortable and it had beautiful furnishings, two big windows overlooking the square and made the rest of our stay very special. However, the table in room 204 (the new room where we were staying) was very rickety so that one could not put any sort of a beverage on it and right away Martina called the technician who came in with all his tools and he turned the table upside down and went to work on it right in front of us. Nothing other than what I noted above.
