Ca' Dei Conti
About Ca' Dei Conti
Just 215 yards from Saint Mark's Square, the Ca' dei Conti is an 18th-century Venetian residence, reached by bridge over a small canal. It features a charming roof terrace and elegant rooms. This 4-star hotel originally belonged to an aristocratic family, whose coat of arms can still be seen in the lobby's marble floor. The historic atmosphere is continued throughout the property with plenty of antique furniture and Murano glass chandeliers. All air-conditioned, the rooms here feature a minibar, TV and a private bathroom with hairdryer. Some are in Palazzo Querini just a few feet away. Hotel Ca' dei Conti serves a breakfast each morning. Drinks from the bar can be served on the terrace. With its central location, the hotel is surrounded by some of Venice's most popular cafes, shops and restaurants. You also have excellent Vaporetto services to Santa Lucia Train Station. License Number(s): IT027042A1FOMME3ES

There’s not enough air! The air conditioning wasn’t cooling enough

We liked the quiet location on a canal. We liked our room size and breakfast available on site. Two of the three rooms did not have adequate air conditioning. Our rooms were nearly 80 degrees which felt stifling. The breakfast was barely adequate for the price.

Beautiful atmosphere and very historic The toilet was loose

The exquisite decor. Lovely staff. Great breakfast. Great location
-
Great staff. Room was very nice, better than we expected. Well located within Venice. Great value. Will stay at again for sure.

The pillows was not so good

A beautiful view of the canal. The only problem is we got lost and Google Maps are wrong ? Lovely, clean room with good facilities. People were helpful .. john was lovely and Harry .. Lanie was wonderful and kind . ?????❤️

Badly designed bathroom. Practically have to step over the toilet when exiting the shower.
-
Friendly staff, originally was given the wrong room but that was corrected right after check in. Breakfast was more than expected.
-
Convenient location. A bit tricky to find but after checking in it was okay.

Very pretty. If you were staying for a while in the center the location was good. Bathroom was very nice. Had a tub. Good water pressure. Breakfast was good The beds were awful. Not even mediocre. You couldn't move or the bed. Would flip. A piece of warped plywood with maybe old foam. Horrible. Slept 1 hr max Too far if you are only staying 1 night Bellman did not help bring bags over stairs.

The Staff

Fantastic location! Very easily get to St. Mark's Square & water busses. The staff was very helpful when needing any assistance & we had issues with our shower & it was immediately taken care of. They have elevators. Beds were very comfortable. The shower is small but has full doors. Room was VERY small. The bed literally takes up the whole room.

we enjoyed everything about the property. The rooms were spacious and lovely. The beds were comfortable and you got extra pillows etc.

It’s not really a big deal but the rooms might need a bit of renovation, I get that they’re aiming for an old vibe but some of the ceilings might need a touch of renovation. Another suggestion for improvement is regarding the small pier that the hotel has on the canal - it could be really cool if they could open it (there is huge vase there right now), and maybe put a table and two chairs and then people could have a drink on the canal itself.
