Hotel Castello

The room was a bit dark and did not offer complimentary breakfast.

Great location and nice bright room Lots of stairs!

The air conditioner in the room didn't work, the hotel staff didn't help us... We opened a window because it was really hot and a lot of mosquitoes came in and bit us all night and we couldn't sleep a minute! And there were some guys outside the hotel who made noise and shouted almost all night...

Hotel Castello is a wonderful hotel. Easy to get to from the train station/vaparetto stop. Its location is in a quiet area near St. Marks Square/Doge Palace/Bridge of Sighs. The hotel is really "nice" with spacious rooms. nice bathrooms and the place is quiet in the evening. A perfect place to stay in Venice. Nothing we did not like at this hotel.

The staff was really polite and helpful. You can leave your luggage there until your room is not ready. My room didn’t have been updated yet so we missed charger plugs.

TV didn t work but it s not a huge deal.

Location is good and also staff Furniture is very old and uncomfortable

The rooms were beautiful. The mini bar was tiny but great to keep drinks cold. It was quiet. The roof top was fun and we enjoyed a byo drink up there. Bed was good size and comfortable. Porter took our luggage to our room. We didn't try the breakfast but looked adequate.

Nothing, very bad actually The girl in the reception was very negative and not pleasant at all, the room was really smaller than we saw in the picture, mold was everywhere, luckily we stayed there just one day, avoid at any cost ?

It was a bit of a walk from the bus drop off to the hotel. That seems to be the case for most of the hotels near St. Marks. It was our 1st time there so navigating was a little tough. Not knowing how the water buses or water taxis work didn't help.

The location is very nice and the staff were really friendly Its a bit humid inside

The listing made it sound like the breakfast was included, which it was not.

The safe did not work, there was a water puddle in our room from the air conditioner, when we turned the AC off we could not turn it back on, the lights were out in our hallway.

When i checked in they gave me a room but withput city view like i booked, i put my luggage’s and i went to have a dinner,but when i returned after couple of hours the AC was stopped of working, and i called the one who was working there and he tried to fix it many times but it didn’t work, i asked him to give me another room and he said that the hotel is fully booked, and the way he was speaking was without respect and he was very rude, after many trial to fix it it didn’t work, he contact some one i think he’s the manager and he told him to chane me the room, but the room they gave it to me was very very small not like the one i booked, and without refrigerator.

A little old in terms of decor, but not a big deal.

The terrace doesn’t look like the pictures they have on their profile.
