Great location to St. Mark’s Square and Doge Palace. Family room with two twin beds and Queen was spacious. Hotel staff were helpful. Breakfast was good. There were 3 beds and only 2 blankets which was strange but we just shared.

Breakfast was amazing! Great location and staff was very helpful.

Great location, great breakfast, excellent lodging. Spacious and beautiful. The bed was very firm but the extra pillows and blankets available were a nice touch.

Breakfast and location were great, as was the size of the bathroom and the water pressure in the shower. The hotel only uses one water taxi company and refused to compare prices with a different one when I thought the quoted price was exorbitant.

Our room didn't actually look like the photos on booking's site. Same type of room - but not as nice. I wouldn't recommend paying extra for canal view either as it is blocked by umbrellas at the restaurants/overall isn't worth it.

The housekeepers who steamed our luggage and checked out the room were lovely, kind, and sympathetic but limited by management in how much they could help us. BED BUGS. The reception staff tried to downplay the bed bugs despite us showing them my partner’s MANY bites that got bigger by the day. And giving them a live one we caught in a ziploc bag. We also showed them a photo I took of one I killed in the middle of the night with a large blob of blood that squirted out of it. They refused to give us any compensation for our cost of having to do laundry on our last day of our vacation as well as the cost of us having to do dry cleaning once back home in case of bugs or eggs in the seams of our clothes. They didn’t compensate us for the sleepless nights or emotional distress that tainted our second half of the vacation. They do not have mattress protectors on the beds and they seem to believe a quick steaming with a hand steamer was sufficient treatment of a bed bugs infestation. We saw two bed bugs in total but that doesn’t mean there weren’t more. We paid over $3000.00 USD for our 7 day trip; while I realize that bed bug infestations happen, I believe the hotel should have done a lot more- in treating the situation and in compensating us for our serious inconvenience and discomfort.

Location was great, but still nice and quiet at night. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and room was nice and large with a balcony. Breakfast was great as well! Room was on the top floor, so it was a bit warm even for the end of March. Pillows were a but hard, but definitely not a deal breaker.

The hotel was very well located, everything was very clean, the front desk was very professional, he gave us great recommendations.

Hotel is within walking distance from major attractions. Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast has enough food, fruit, and drinks to choose from. Staff was helpful: operated elevator to transport luggage upstairs and replaced broken electric kettle with a brand new one quickly. Nothing really.

The location was excellent - close to many of the activities and places we wanted to visit but on a quiet street overlooking a canal. We felt like we were staying in an authentic old building, which we appreciated.

Nice service good breakfast

Staff is really nice and helpful, they explained EXCEPTIONALLY well how to get the boat to go to the airport. BREAKFAST is FANTASTIC and the staff amazing!!
-
Great stay, would highly recommend. Perfect location, safe, clean and the breakfast was great. Funky old room layout, but lots of space for a family of four with two older teens in the Family suite.

The lady at the front desk answered every question and helped with water taxi. EXCELLENT!!!

Location was great! Short walk to St Mark’s Square, restaurants and shopping. Room was very pretty and comfortable. It faced the canal, Yet it was very quiet. The gentleman at the front desk during the day was very nice and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We really appreciated his assistance. We appreciated having an included breakfast, but the scrambled eggs were dry and rubbery.

Very clean and well located hotel in historical building. Great breakfast, very welcoming and helpful staff. About 3 minutes from San Marco. Family room for 4 people had plenty of space for 2 adults + 2 big kids. At the dining hall there is a true gem - decorated wooden ceiling. -----

Daniel was so welcoming and helpful. He guided me to some great restaurants and helped me discover hidden gems. I ran out of time before I ran out of things to do, so he gave suggestions on accomplishing all of it using the vaporetto. The location is amazing. It was on a quiet street, yet just a 2 minute walk to Zaccaria vaporetto stop. So easy to get here from the airport on Alilaguna. It was a quick walk to San Marco where I was able to watch the sunrise and get great pictures without the crowds. It was easy to stop back during the day to drop off packages or grab something from the room. The breakfast ladies provided a wonderful spread and were so helpful with making sure I had what I needed. The room was beautiful with silk wall coverings and a gorgeous chandelier. The bathroom was modern and super clean. Location and staff make this a real gem. The room was so quiet. I never heard any other guests. There was a flight of stairs to get to my room and another to reach the breakfast room. The pillows were firmer than I prefer.

We had a terrific family room that catered very well for 2 adults and 2 children. The room was huge and classically italian. Air con, wifi were good. Location was excellent
