A really special place to stay: classy and sophisticated, but with an understated elegance. The breakfast room on the first floor was simply wonderful and matched by the quality of the food and service each morning. The staff throughout the hotel were courteous, professional and incredibly helpful. I stayed in the most basic room on the ground floor, which wasn’t as private as some, but it was completely charming nonetheless and excellent value for money.

Beautiful property, with premium decoration in the room. I liked everything.

Prior to our arrival, we maintained communication with Arber, who seamlessly arranged our taxi and boat transportation to the hotel. Upon our check-in, the hotel manager, Guido, dedicated ample time to providing us with comprehensive information about a special boat tour and recommended various sightseeing destinations. Additionally, he ensured that our vegetarian dietary preferences were accommodated by suggesting several restaurants. The night shift receptionist, Mario, demonstrated exceptional assistance throughout our stay. Our breakfast was served in the palace building, where Mary, with a warm smile, brought our meal to our table. The breakfast room, reminiscent of a museum, provided an opulent setting, and the service was impeccably elegant. The hotel’s strategic location made it conveniently situated near all the must-see attractions.

very pricey, but must be expected in Venice.

A beautiful hotel with large historical rooms and views of the canals. Our stay included a daily breakfast and afternoon treat table with Prosecco on ice. The bed was very comfortable with a gorgeous bathroom and excellent rain shower. Service was above and beyond our expectations. We especially loved the women at breakfast who made our daily start so warm and welcoming with delicious and beautifully put together dishes. We were very appreciative of the complimentary welcome package that we found in our room. The rooms were so cozy and extremely quiet. An absolute gem of a hotel! They also were very helpful in choosing restaurants and ordering a water taxi for our departure. Cannot think of one thing!

The location was amazing! The rooms were also so beautiful and the breakfast was perfect. We were there in April and there was no air conditioning and when we left the windows open, we were bit up by mosquitos

The package we selected had us breakfasting in the upstairs blue room, it was a delight. Our server was very attentive and made our mornings extra special (Roberta) When we first arrived they had us in a ground floor room, very pretty but for myself I have a very sensitive sense of smell , they were able to move us after two days to a second floor room and it was delightful.

The property a staff was excellent. We will definitely be back to this property The staff were welcoming, friendly, and therefore anything we needed… The property was in a great location… The property was very clean, well-maintained and was worthy of us making this one of our primary places to stay when in Venice, Italy

The staff was really nice and helped us on multiple occasions. The breakfast is really good and in a beautiful room upstairs which we really liked. The staff who served breakfast is so nice and so quick, we really appreciated them! The location is excellent and the rooms are very clean. The 2 people room with a canal view actually had bars in the windows and was located next to a busy street which was inconsistent with what we expected based on the booking.com description. So the room was the biggest downside (loud and dark). Also, on the way from the airport to the hotel, the hotel booked us transportation and it was strange as it was a car taxi first followed by a water taxi which was unexpected because we’ve been to Venice multiple times and this was the first time that transportation was not handled entirely by a water taxi. Also, the reception hotel was located in a different hotel of a lower standard, so the first impression wasn’t very good because of strange transportation method followed by a reception that looked nothing like what was in photos followed by discovering that the room was next to a busy street and had bars in windows.

Lovely room in a classic, old-style hotel. It really felt like stepping back in time, with a window facing a quiet canal and gondolas passing by. Very peaceful and charming. The location is great – only about a 5-minute walk to St. Mark’s Square, the promenade, and the Bridge of Sighs. The hotel is on a quiet street next to a small canal, and it’s also about a 5-minute walk from the Vaporetto stop. The hotel has a traditional feel, with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good, and the afternoon snacks with Prosecco were a nice bonus.
