Danieli, Venezia, A Four Seasons Hotel
About Danieli, Venezia, A Four Seasons Hotel
Facing the Venetian Lagoon and just steps from Piazza San Marco, Danieli, A Four Seasons Hotel, Venice unites three historic palaces dating back to the 15th century. The hotel features 120 rooms and suites, newly redesigned by French interior designer Pierre Yves Rochon. Their elegant interiors draw inspiration from Venice’s rich artistic heritage, with a color palette reflecting the tones of the city’s canals, palaces, and lagoon. To further elevate the Danieli experience, Terrazza Danieli provides the perfect setting to savor refined Italian specialties, complemented by magical rooftop terrace views across the Venetian Lagoon and its islands. All rooms and suites feature an LCD satellite TV, air conditioning, and an Italian-marble bathroom with bathrobe and slippers. Some rooms offer views of the lagoon. It was a gorgeous property. Staff was excellent and breakfast on the roof top restaurant is unbelievable. To get to our room you have to walk through to other side of hotel due to the layout of the 1st floor.

The interior was stunning, making me feel like I was in an art museum. Both the cocktails at the bar and the breakfast were incredibly delicious. One slightly disappointing aspect was that the room we were first shown to had far too many mosquitoes. We stayed in late March, and since it was an ocean-view room, I opened the window for about 5 minutes to enjoy the sea view. It seems that mosquitoes got into the room during that time. When we returned from our walk, there were over 20 mosquitoes in the room. I understand that, given Venice’s location, some mosquitoes are inevitable, but it was still quite a surprise. There were no warnings when we were shown the room, such as, “Be careful, as opening the windows might let mosquitoes in.” If we had been advised beforehand, we could have been more careful. It appears that mosquitoes are even more common in summer, so if you’re not fond of insects, please be cautious. As expected of a five-star hotel, they kindly offered to change our room due to the large number of mosquitoes. The service was excellent. In the new room, even when the window was slightly opened, almost no mosquitoes entered, so it may have been a room-specific issue. Overall, staying at the legendary Hotel Danieli was a wonderful experience. Thank you very much.

Everything was the best experience. It was my dream to stay at this hotel, and this was the moment my dream came true. The communication in advance was very polite, and there was a surprise when I checked in on the day (I will not reveal the details), and it was an experience that I truly felt glad to have stayed there. The interior of the hotel, which I had seen many times in photos, was more luxurious than I had imagined. I had stayed in a 4-star hotel the day before, but this room was so luxurious and beautiful that it was incomparable to my eyes and my heart. There were more than a few amenities (hair dryer, slippers, towels, bathrobe, shampoo, body soap, sewing kit) and no inconvenience. I was also surprised that the bathtub and shower room were separate. We also used the restaurant for dinner, and even though it was my first time at a restaurant and I was having trouble ordering, they kindly explained to me. I was surprised that they made the bed during dinner! Breakfast was also an elegant moment in a restaurant with a great view, and there was a wide variety of bread and other foods, and the food was so eye-catching that I wanted four stomachs. Everything from check-in to check-out was the best experience. Next time I will work hard to earn enough money to be able to stay for the entire stay instead of just one night‼‼ なし
