The Hotel Al Codega has a fantastic location. It provides a tremendous breakfast buffet. The staff is wonderful. The room was clean, quiet, and air-conditioned. Considering the prices of the other similar hotels, it was very reasonable. Well, as a spoiled American, it would have been great to have a smart TV to stream entertainment on, but we got by. It is advisable to bring an adapter that has USB outlets for charging devices. The desk provided us one - they were really great!

Great location , excellent breakfast. Helpful staff

The staff was quite helpful arranging a water taxi from the airport and then meeting us at the dock for the water taxi. They also gave us a good recommendation for restaurant and ordered a taxi for us the next morning.

Great location in a wonderful neighborhood close to everything. Beautifully appointed room. Yummy breakfast. Cute little courtyard. Not that it would prevent us from returning but it was odd that the elevator stopped on the 2nd floor every time, even if we were going to the 3rd floor or ground floor. Im guessing it is for security because the reception desk is on the 2nd floor but still odd. Also, the hotel is in a cute court yard but no outdoor space for the hotel. I would be so cute to have some tables and drinks available for outside… but maybe the neighbors wouldn’t like that?

The hotel did provide a great breakfast with traditional Italian or American offerings. Staff was very accommodating and rooms was very clean. Location to all of Venice was nice as it is between St. Marks Square and the Rialto Bridge but it is also tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowds which is nice. Room was great at keeping noise out from busy tourist walkways that were adjacent to it. Room was great and bathroom was nice, but we had the handicap shower room and always seemed to get water outside the curtain into the rest of the bathroom. Other family members had traditional room and did not have that issue with their bathroom. This is not a huge dislike, but had to clean up a little after taking a shower. We just had to ask for additional towels.

Location was an easy 10 min walk, with no stairs if you have luggage , to the Grand Canal for the water bus. Easy and short walks to all the squares San Marco square is 10 min. The room was beautiful and extremely clean. Shower was nice and hot with good water pressure. Breakfast is included and wonderful. Many choices, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, breads, pastry, eggs, bacon, yogurt, nuts, dried fruit, granola, pancakes, waffles, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff and great breakfast. Great location Cannot think of an item

No Air conditioning on 2 out of the 3 days, not allowed to have breakfast on the last day although breakfast hours were from 7 to 10 am. It was 7:10 when I came to the breakfast room and was told it was until 7:30. Room needs some repair, but property is located in a charming court very close to Piazza San Marcos. Staff need to be a little more welcoming.
