Stayed June 18-20, 2026. Exceptional location. 5 minutes from the Vaporeto stop - Rialto bridge and 5 mins to St. Marks basilica & square and Doges palace. Excellent service provided by Francesco at reception welcoming me, checking me in and providing a map with recommendations of things to see and do and restaurants. He also carried my bag up the flight of stairs to my room. Robert the cleaning guy as very helpful. Comfortable room and bed and rooms cleaned daily. You get a key to your room, that you must leave at reception when going out. Appreciated that my room was on the first floor near the dinning area. For breakfast they offer a buffet with different coffees, juices, water, American breakfast - scrambled eggs, bacon sausages. as well as European breakfast - pastries. Highly recommended.

Everything but the best part was the breakfast. Nothing.

    Location

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The location was great, close to to most attractions and the breakfast was very good, with many options to chose from. Staff were also very polite and helpful. Having to climb the stairs, a lift would have been helpful.

The bathroom in the twin room is VERY small. I was able to maneuver by going past the sink sideways, but someone much larger might not be able to get past the sink. Just something to be aware of.

I didn't like being on the fourth floor and having to climb those stairs several times a day. I also didn't like ending up with 12 mosquito bites the first morning!

The location of the hotel was very close to Piazza San Marco. The room was big enough, clean and stayed free of flooding water. The staff asked us to wait until later to come to breakfast. We waited for the larger party to come through and the staff looked at us with disgust as we walked in for a late breakfast. Having a staff member stand in front of the door and ask for our key to remain in the hotel before letting us out was off putting. The staff seemed impatient and bothered.

Location was less than 1/2 mile from Piazza San Marco. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room was beautiful. I loved the addition of the Murano glass chandelier. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. We did enjoy the breakfast each morning. The location was fairly central to where we wanted to explore. We weren't sure about the air conditioning. We needed to ask the staff to turn it on. Had we not asked we wouldn't have known we could have it on or that it worked.

Friendly, amazing breakfast, very clean, safe. No elevator, understandable but requires some energy.

Fabulous location and delicious breakfast! No lobby area and very tight bathroom

We were in a room that had a terrible odor. It was a musty smell. They couldn't solve the problem. They were fully booked so we had to endure. They discounted the price as a result but don't get room 355

The location is great. I woke up after my first night there and had weird red spots all over my face, arms, and back. I thought that I was perhaps having an allergic reaction. I took benedryl that night. When I woke up the second morning, my collection of weird red spots had doubled. They were not mosquito bites, they were not an allergic reaction, they were bedbugs. I confirmed this with a trip to the pharmacy and a video call with a friend of mine who experienced a bedbug infestation due to her disgusting roommate a few years ago. At checkout, I let the clerk know that my room (255- avoid it like the plague) had a bedbug infestation. I was told that they were mosquito bites. They are not- when I get bitten by mosquitoes the bites are itchy AF and swell. I repeatedly told the clerk that I just wanted to save the next guest from this disgusting and blotchy fate, and was repeatedly blown off. Bedbugs are gross. They do not belong in nice hotels, and hotel staff should take notification of an infestation seriously instead of gaslighting the guests that inform them of a problem so that they can fix it.
