Excellent location and service. The check in process takes place a at separate entrance/address nearby, this wasn’t disclosed on the reservation or at the door, which was locked when I got there. There’s no instructions to go to the nearby entrance and no one answered the call on the intercom located outside or my messages on booking. I went into the restaurant next door to eat (with four bags) came back an hour later then my call was answered and I received instructions.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Location to St Lucia Train Station was excellent The bar lounge was vey nice The room was a bit small. A flight of steps to our room with no elevator option. Hard to manage with suitcase but staff helped to carry

The location was literally steps from the train station.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful. It was wonderful to be able to drop your bag off after a long train ride prior to checking in.

The room was small and the air conditioning had to be turned on from a central location and so it was hot.

Breakfast was delicious and they had a big variety. Location was very convenient to the train station. Reception staff were very friendly. The bar was beautiful but the bartender was not helpful and the glass was dirty. The room was nothing special and not especially comfortable.

Location and staff. Great breakfast The manager was amazing and helped us get to airport at 3 a.m. The staff that helped us get there during rain and wind were wonderful.

That you reach in Venice with the train and you go to the left leaving the station and enter the first alley to the left (no steps, no stairs). No need to pay one of the guys outside charging you 10 euros to go up the steps!!! No steps people. That we did not have a chance to enjoy breakfast the last morning there! You should see the arrangement of yummies they have :)

Proximity to grand canal, train station, and its historic value. Also, the breakfast was incredible. As a historic building, I’m sure it’s continually in need of repairs which must be difficult to keep up with. But there were workers on site trying. Our room was very small with a stairway to the bathroom.

The property is conveniently located within steps of the train station which made it excellent for our purposes as we were only in Venice for a night and didn’t want to drag our luggage far. The breakfast buffet in the morning was a nice touch for the value! And the bar area was a gorgeous place to enjoy a glass of wine. The room we stayed in was at the FAR back of the hotel entrance, it felt like we were in a maze trying to find our room. I believe this was because there are two distinct hotel locations within one building
