The location was great with coffee shops, wine stores and nice restaurants on a canal just steps away. The access to the property was a little dodgy. It wasn’t like you could just show up when convenient for you, it had to be scheduled with the manager/owner of the property. The facilities are clean and safe and there was a little balcony that I loved. The location was right by a plaza with lively festivities.

We had a great time. Antonio was extremely helpful and was happy to answer any questions we had about where to eat, things to see, transportation etc. We loved the location because it was close to everything by way of walking, but was a bit quieter and more secluded from the tourist areas. The building is beautiful and authentic so it truly added to the experience I would stay here anytime again! That I had to leave ?

The owner was very kind and accommodating. Allowed us for early check in and helped with navigating the city.

The staff was good at communicating with me which was very helpful! I enjoyed the location and convenience of being near shops, restaurants, and only a 10 min walk from the train station was great. The view was only a partial view of the canal but still appreciated. I didn't love the bed; additional pillows or a blanket would have been appreciated. The room was pretty small, and having the detached bathroom was just slightly inconvenient, especially at night. A nice touch would have been some waters or refreshments in the mini fridge. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay.

The view of the small canal is magical, with swallows in the early morning hours. The furnishings were exquisite, baroque yet tasteful with quilted walls. The neighborhood is sweeter than the San Marco side, with a small public square with big trees and many places to eat just down the tiny pedestrian street. The area is not overrun with tourists where most people in the cafes were speaking Italian. La Zucca, just over the bridge is said to be fantastic, but was booked out a month. The name can be confusing if you don't scroll down the page. Three of the rooms face the canal side, the largest has the amazing view.

Antonio was very helpful, with good communication skills. We appreciated his guidance getting us there from the airport, with ease. Good location, comfortable bed, clean. We had the room with bathroom across the hall. It was no problem at all. Located right across the street from a wonderful coffee shop.

Antonio was the perfect host. The room was spacious and charming. The location couldn't have been better. It was a short walk from the Vaporetto, and there were several restaurants and cafes on the block. Local children were playing soccer in the courtyard while we were dining outside. It was a beautiful area. We had dinner at Patachic and the food was amazing! Initially, it took a little while to get in the front door, but once we got our key, there were no issues.

Excellent stay! The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The owner was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. We stayed for 2 days and truly enjoyed the hospitality and peaceful atmosphere. Everything was well organized, and the service exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant! Nothing

The location is fantastic for a stay in Venice. Close to a vaporetto stop for easy movement through the city. The adjacent campo (square) has a great bakery, gelato, and a wine bar. it's right by La Zucca, a highly recommended restaurant. Yet it's far enough from Rialto and San Marco tourist centers to feel more quiet, relaxed, and like people live in the area. We were greeted by the owner Antonio and given glasses of prosecco, which was delightful, and overall had a wonderful stay. I definitely recommend reaching out to Antonio before you travel to confirm details. He was very pleasant and communicative.

Beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful with great restaurants nearby. Antonio was so helpful and hospitable and truly made us feel at home! The room was clean and comfy and had everything we needed. The steps leading up to the B&B are a bit steep and slippery so just have to be careful!

Bed was uncomfortable to my preference and it settled to the middle.

The location is a 12 min walk from the train station in a family oriented area near restaurants, bakery, gelato and groceries. The hotel has traditional decor and was very clean with hot showers. Antonio was very helpful and friendly.

This place is perfect if you are looking for the full experience of what it is like to stay in Venice. The little balcony looking out to the canal was my favorite thing. The room was beautiful and so quaint. There was always a gondola parked outside next to the bridge in the water. There is also an great bakery to your right just as you leave the apartment. I really had high expectations and they were definitely met. The host was very kind and supper helpful. He responded when we messaged him and was always helpful. I would very much recommend staying here.

The room was authentic, clean and very comfortable. It was spacious with very high ceilings. The bathroom was well equipped and the shower had good pressure. The room was cleaned each day with freshly made bedding and fresh towels etc. The room was also equipped with a spacious mini fridge and a iron and ironing board which is perfect when travelling light. The balcony overlooked the canal and a canal bridge which was lovely to see while drinking our complementary Prosecco. Antonio was special. He helped organise our taxi boat, was there to meet us when we arrived. He also kept our luggage safe after check out. Antonio also put some personal gestures into our room as the trip was for my girlfriends birthday. What a lovely touch. I would definitely stay again! Nothing negative to say. We had a perfect weekend.

They were really sweet, it's a nice place to stay. Bath is private but not en-suite. The view is of the canal and a little cafe but it is not actually on the canal. It's a great central area, comfy bed.

Average at best. 15 minute walk from train station. Of note, you pay 9.50 every time you take the public transport board in Venice, so not worth it for 1 stop. No in house reception present during our stay but they were accessible by phone. Quick to respond on what’s app. We booked a canal view room with separate external bathroom. It’s down the hall a bit which was more of a nuisance than anticipated. Balcony has tacky fake plants. Not a great view. Smell of fish from the restaurant below when windows are open. Hotel has scent diffusers everywhere which are very strong. Steep, narrow, uneven steps to get to hotel.

The property was spotless very friendly owner and staff. Location was superb Separate bathroom across the corridor would have preferred the bathroom in the room

We loved our stay at Dimora Al Dode Beato in Venice. It was very clean, comfortable and centrally located. The communication was excellent and would definetly stay here again. Lots of things to see and do, great resturants , coffee and Gelato shops. 5 min walk to seafront and promanade. Nothing

This property is absolutely fantastic. It was an easy walk from the train station, next door there is a great trattoria with kind stuff and across the street there is a small café with sandwiches and desserts… plus there is a gelato shop next to the café. The host of the property was the outmost helpful in every way imaginable! Kept in touch before my arrival and had kind words to me via text message after I left. I would definitely stay at this property again when I’m back in Venice. I would also recommend this place to my friends and family… it is so great!

Host is really nice and welcomed us with warmth. The location is great - about 10-15 min walk from train station and the view of the street/canals from the window is great. Room is spacious and classic.
