Hotel Grifoni

The hotel was very clean, staff responded quickly. The woman who cleaned our room was very kind and friendly. The rooms are modern and tastefully decorated. The location is amazing! It was great that we could leave our bags in a luggage area after checkout. There is a small grocery store just outside the hotel and this was incredibly convenient. We could hear other guests laughing very loudly in the room next door. But we contacted the hotel staff and they let us know that they would remind these guests of quietness policies after 11pm. The next day the problem was resolved.

Great location facility was very clean and modern and the staff we interacted with was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Venice.

I loved the location as it is close to the train station. It is also in a less busy part of Venice. The shops, restaurants and general vibe is less touristy. I love that you can store your luggage and they thoughtfully included a toilet in the luggage room. The rooms are new and spotless, big bathroom and comfy beds. They are very responsive, there is no front desk, it operates as more of an Air bb.

The hotel does not have any front desk staff, the shower was clogged, but the only way to reach out to the owner/manager was through WhatsApp messenger.

Close to everything. Only 13 min walk to train station. Very clean. Feels new. Beds were a little hard but still comfortable.

The self-service luggage drop was convenient. No one actually works at the hotel, except housekeeping. We stayed there in early May. It was warm and the A/C did not work. Housekeeping informed us they do not turn on the A/C until May 15th, so we had to sleep with the windows open. There was a constant flow of noisy foot traffic on the street until about 2:00 am. There is a small market across the street, and the vendors started making deliveries early in the morning, so it was difficult to sleep. We turned on the TV to help drown out the noise, but Italian and Greek were the only language options available.

The lobby with luggage storage was great. WiFi good too 1st floor was loud.

lots of outside noise people speaking all night outside passing by can be heard in room which caused us to not sleep well. coffee machine did not work and no instructions. air condition was not on and we were advised it was not in season to use. Its far from train station so hard to get hotel with lots of crossing bridges. Do not recommend.

No table or space to place bags. Loud bathroom fan.

Location The compactness and size

A big plus was the possibility to leave our luggage in a storage room even after check-out, which was very convenient and allowed us to enjoy the rest of the day without worrying about our bags. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Large Rooms everything looks brand new, real hardwood floors ,

Loved the cleanliness of the property and the ease of checking in. I also loved that if you got there early, you were able to bag drop until check in time. I can't forget that the supermarket (Conad) is also right across the street! Nothing, absolutely loved the stay
