Hotel Tre Archi

Night front desk man was helpful and attentive AC was broken in the room in the hot summer making an unpleasant sweaty night à nightmare.

Location, charm, and staff...and the residents cat Freya.

The big yes was the location, very close to the train station (9 min walk) and the area was not crowded. Old structure, A/C not working correctly and a moldy smell on the rooms. Also dirty shower.

The Elevator was not working Elevator was not working.

The location. We were near alot of restaurants and shops. Hotel near main public transportation. Never received the room we booked. Room was suppose to be a garden view. The room was very outdated. Something was biting me the whole time we were there to the point I could not sleep. The breakfast was mediocre. Also, the taxes you must pay upfront, can only be paid in cash. which we knew nothing about.

There was ongoing renovation work inside the hotel, and drilling and hammering started every morning, making it impossible to sleep. The windows and curtains did not open properly, preventing guests from fully enjoying the canal view. The breakfast was very poor, and the bed was uncomfortable. The price was comparable to that of a 5-star hotel, even though this is only a 3-star hotel. In reality, the quality felt below 3-star standards. There is no elevator, making it unsuitable for families with heavy luggage, baby strollers, or guests with disabilities. There was also no staff available to assist with carrying luggage.

Easy to walk to hotel from train. Quiet location. Staff were nice and comforting. Room was clean and looked like pictures. Big breakfast. Beautiful view. 24 hour front desk with cold drinks.

Tre Archi is located perfectly towards the end of the Fondamenta in the Canareggio district but easily walkable to the main shopping and restaurant zone as well as the Guglie vaparetto station. Bed, sheets and towels were great. Breakfast although simple was very good. Location is 10. Unfortunately this property is aging and is not well maintained. From things hanging crooked on the walls, shower heads so clogged that water barely comes out of them and particle board covering walls throughout the stairwell, it felt too much like a low budget hostel. Although we get the fact that locals in Venice are “over” the tourists, reception could barely tolerate a question and acted disgusted at leaving a door open.

Room was quiet and out of the sun, which was nice. Bathroom was new and spacious. Hotel was right across from one of the water taxi drop-off/pick-up locations, and that was convenient. We could not get the A/C to come on, and the room was very stuffy. We were able to sleep with the windows open but there are no screens (which is normal), so we had some mosquito bites, but nothing bad. There was confusion with the breakfast hours - we arrived late in the evening and were told breakfast was 730-1030, but when we got to the dining area in the morning, the hostess said it ended at 10.

I appreciated that breakfast was included. Coffee was good, pastries were tasty and the bright room a nice place to sit in the morning. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. They had the room set up for a family room (brought in 2 extra twin beds for kids) and while the room wasn't big it fit our needs for a couple of nights. The king size bed for parents in a family room was a bonus. No complaints. The hotel was what I expected, nice, clean, quiet, and not too pricey.

Good location. It’s right in front of the Tre Archi stop so it’s very easy to get to and from The pictures are very deceptive. Not one picture showed my room, which was their largest triple room. If I had seen pictures I wouldn’t have stayed there. The shower was horrible and barely worked. The water kept fluctuating between ice cold and lava hot. It’s at the top of a building so the ceiling is slanted, which means the shower is crammed into a slanted corner. The toilet also wouldn’t flush and I had to fix it myself. The thermostat also seemed to only sometimes work. The breakfast was as basic as could be while considered a meal. Basically just croissants and corn flakes. At least the coffee was decent. You’re getting sub 1-star hotel for a pretty high price.
