Hotel Villa Pannonia

Nice clean hotel, kind staff. Disappointing sleep. The bed was uncomfortable, and the room lacked a window shade. Because of the early summer sunrise, I woke up much earlier than planned.

Location, room size, staff, breakfast Very very very small bath cubicle. I am 6 feet and weigh 84 kg. Could not take bath properly at all. Very disappointing. Staff did not advise me to park the car on the road - public parking place.

Lovely, old fashion style, small, peaceful hotel, few steps from the vaporetto. The staff is very polite, they help in everything, even my hair stylist appointment was arranged by them. We like the parking option and the bike rental.

Everything was perfect - fell in love with the location, it was very relaxing to come back to Lido and this hotel after full day in Venice. The room was very nice, the staff was incredible - we came here earlier to ask if we could leave our stuff and come back at the check in time, but they gave us our room earlier so that was perfect. Also the breakfast was good. We are already planing our next trip to Venice and this hotel will definitely be the place we will stay!

Breakfast was good. It did take longer to get there from the center of Venice than I had hoped. Because of that our departure day turned into a disaster…our 40 minute boat ride to the train station took nearly 90 minutes because the vaporetto caught fire before we even made it to the first stop.Though we had left more than an hour to get there we missed our train, and consequently our booking at the Uffizi gallery in Florence - we had only 75 minutes at the museum instead of 3 and 1/2 hours. A closer location to the city center

24/7 reception team - friendly, efficient and informative before and during our stay. The hotel’s red facade made it easy to find in a quiet area, one road back from the main street S. Maria Elisabetta, yet only a few minutes walk to bars, restaurants, supermarkets and the beach. We appreciated the elevator to our 3rd floor modern super clean attic room, more airy / spacious than expected. There was a kettle with tea/coffee and the welcome bottle of wine was a nice touch. Very comfortable firm orthopedic beds with quality white sheets. Super 7.30-10 am breakfast buffet (cereal, yoghurt, fruit, pastries, cakes and bread plus eggs, bacon, cold meats, cheese etc.) overlooking the garden terrace. At Marco Polo Airport we purchased €45 3-day ACTV tickets (Venice Travel Pass) + €13 Aerobus return (line 5) to/from Piazzale Roma to connect with vaporetto (water bus) 5.1 to Lido then 8 minute walk to hotel. Vaporettos offered convenient and cost effective travel from Lido to San Marco (16 min), less touristy districts and to the islands of Burano, Murano and San Giorgio for super views from the tower. A fabulous and good value stay on all counts.

Second time here absolutely lovely place, staff, breakfast etc.

The hotel is very well located, in the quiet street but also very close to the boat station. The room is spacious, clean. Comfy beds. The staff is very friendly! They have even offered us the bottle of spumante on arrival. Lovely place to stay in Venice. The shower is a little small, it could be an issue for a big sized person.

Very clean , staff very helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast . Very enjoyable stay Would benefit from larger shower area as little bit of a struggle in the cubicle and also a mirror on the desk / dressing table .
