This is a very rare example of truly exceptional hospitality, especially in such a popular tourist destination as Venice. I felt that the owners and the team have thought through every small detail. It almost seemed as if someone who loves traveling and has spent years staying in different hotels carefully noted all the little things that can make guests unhappy—and then made it their mission to eliminate them. At the same time, they have clearly focused on adding thoughtful touches that make guests feel welcome and cared for. The experience starts even before arrival: clear communication, easy-to-follow check-in instructions, contact information, Wi-Fi details, and everything needed for a smooth self-check-in process. Arriving to a cool, air-conditioned room was especially appreciated during the summer heat. What impressed me most was the team’s willingness to accommodate extra requests, whether related to dietary needs or preferences for a room with a better view. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. I should also mention the breakfast. Although it is described as continental, it was plentiful, delicious, and beautifully presented. The team is genuinely friendly, warm, and helpful. The room was cleaned daily, and while it wasn’t particularly large, it was very comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The bed was excellent. We loved everything about our stay. It is also incredibly easy to get to Venice from Lido. This wasn’t my first visit to Venice, but it was my first time staying on Lido, and I can honestly say I would choose it again. If you want to spend several days exploring Venice, Lido is, in my opinion, the perfect place to stay. It is peaceful, free from the overwhelming crowds, and has an authentic local atmosphere that is hard to find in the historic center. This is a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for a genuine boutique hotel experience with outstanding hospitality. I highly recommend it. That not all other hotels are like this. Excellent villa stay with family of 4. We stayed in Lido for 2 days to get away from the super busy Venice streets. The town is truly a hidden gem. Our stay was very pleasant. Amazing breakfast with the fantastic Mimi. Great coffee and cappachino. Elaina was also excellent with hosting and giving us great recommendations. We will definitely be back. Ac needed to be a little stronger, other then that, it was perfect.

The best breakfast we had throughout our entire trip in Italy. Delicious. Property is as shown in images and has ease of access through the ferry and the bus that comes every 10 mins and the bus schedules also align with ferry schedule, so you are never waiting more than 10 mins anywhere. Very beautiful clean island away from the very busy bustle of Venice! Would stay here again. There are no elevators and some rooms can be on the third floor and so you will have to carry and heavy bags that you are travelling with. Otherwise, everything was great!

Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, liked the room very much, it had everything I needed. I would definitely come again! For light sleepers (which I am), you can hear other guests coming and going through the staircase a bit loud. But that wasn't too disturbing to me.

The property was in a quiet location and was very clean. This is such a cute place and was perfect for our 3 night stay.

We loved our stay at Hotel Villa Stella! The staff were what made it exceptional; they went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay, and were absolutely delightful. The breakfast was a lovely extra touch. We enjoyed staying on the Lido, and getting the boat bus into Venice each day was a breeze. The room was a little small but fine for our needs.

Superb

Very kind staff, clean, comfortable, and I loved that it was on a quieter island than main Venice. It was easy to go to the main attractions of Venice via water taxi. The beach is easily reachable by 15-20 min walk. The breakfast and coffee were delicious. The communication with the property staff was excellent. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Venice. N/A

Breakfast was very good and the staff very pleasant! The room could have been cleaner, i.e the floor and the shower cabine.

Quiet location on the Lido. Cosy pensione vibe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is more continental and plenty of outdoor seating in the garden. Bed was very comfortable! Room was very quiet even though it faced the road. Perhaps the 15/20 minute walk to the main vaparetto stop. But that’s nothing to do with the hotel. The room could have tea making facilities however, on the last day we discovered the kettle was left out in the dining area for drinks.
