Paola and Frederic were wonderful hosts and very attentive. Everyone made it a wonderful stay, breakfast, and service. Thank you both- ciao Meg we will return someday and hope to stay here again for the excellent location !

I liked the location and that the water taxi could drop you off from the canal. Unfortunately, I did not like most things about this hotel. First, I did not know the wellness suites were separate from the palace portion of the hotel where the water taxi drops you off. You have to walk from the palace hotel to the wellness hotel which we were not ready for (luckily we didn’t pack too much and there was a gentleman to help walk us). I also did not like how the photos on the site and Booking make the room look new and modern and it certainly was not. Parts of the paint in the main room, the bathroom, and even in the shower, were peeling and the room overall felt incredibly old. We used the AC in our room at a moderate temperature to stay cool and the ceiling started leaking so badly that we had to change rooms at 1 AM. Luckily, they had another room in the palace hotel that we could move to, but if they hadn’t had a room, we certainly would had a serious issue in our room with the leaking ceiling. The second room was better due to its size, but it was, again, very old looking and not at all what the hotel overall portrayed. I also purchased breakfast in advance for the first room, and due to the move, we, for some reason, had to negotiate getting breakfast in the new hotel and room we were in which I think was unacceptable. When checking out, the lady at the desk said I wouldn’t be charged the city tax due to the room move. I think this was a very disappointing and honestly unacceptable thing to think I should’ve paid the city tax at all considering I’d already paid in full online and the room was beyond disappointing. Overall, I was not pleased with my stay here.

We loved the staff here, they were very friendly and informative, it felt like having our own guide of the city. We did not like hearing people at the cafés outside but that can’t be changed.

The staff are lovely. The location is great No air conditioning, very uncomfortable bed, terrible pillows, neither of the TVs worked inside the room.

The property was modern, clean and comfortable The room we chose was very spacious and the Turkish bath was amazing, couldn’t recommend it enough. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was decent, could be better in terms of more options. They had a little garden in-front of the entrance where you could eat your breakfast or in the room where you would order the night before.

This hotel was amazing, the room was basically an apartment. The steam shower was amazing and the staff were great!! The canal view was also a huge plus. Definitely recommend it

Beautiful suite with a relaxing steam room which was lovely after a long day of walking and exploring. A lovely continental breakfast to start the day too.

We loved the intimate location, friendly staff, impeccably clean rooms, comfortable bed, delicious “breakfast in bed,” and our favorite was the steam shower/hammam. Everything was perfection. We have no dislikes.

The breakfast was a nice assortment of meats, pastries, jams, jellys, coffee/teas, eggs, etc. The concierge ensured that he and the staff were available for our every need. He offered suggestions for restaurants and arranged transportation. The location was nice, away from the busy street but close enough to get transport. Close by shops and restaurants. The Turkish bath was the most relaxing start and end of the day from sightseeing. I would definitely stay here again.
