Quiet and picture perfect location but close to attractions. Spacious. Lovely bar and garden and a wonderful breakfast bar.

The hotel is not worth the money. It is very far from the center, and you have to walk a lot. Especially if, like us, you prefer to return to the hotel during the day to rest a bit, then this hotel is definitely not for you. This is not a five-star hotel. The rooms are old, with worn carpets and outdated furniture. The bed was extremely uncomfortable — the mattress was very hard, and the pillows felt like they were stuffed with cotton and should have been replaced long ago. There was only one small bottle of water for two people, so we had to buy and carry water to the room ourselves. Our room overlooked the canal. We stayed in Venice for five nights, and unfortunately it was impossible to open the windows because mosquitoes immediately flew in, making it impossible to sleep at night. The air conditioning was basically useless — it did not cool the room at all. The nights were hot and stuffy, with mosquitoes buzzing constantly. The breakfast at the hotel was very poor and extremely limited. For a five-star hotel, this is honestly embarrassing. Our room was located above the bar, and every evening until 11 PM we could hear loud music. At check-out, they also tried to charge us an extra 90 euros. We love Venice, and this was our fourth visit, but I would not return to this hotel.

    Beautiful location. Tranquil

  • Engine customer Apr 2026

Location was fair. Although it was nice to be out of the crowd it was too far from everything we wanted to see. Room small. Amenities not worthy of a five star hotel. Breakfast served in a disorganized setting with inadequate seating and overwhelmed staff.

Very nice hotel withe excellent staff! The location is great in Canareggio, close to many nice osterias and bars! Hotel's garden is an absolute beauty! The size of our room. In case you arrange dinner/drinks at night in the historic center it might be a problem the way back to the hotel only due to the distance (30-40 mins walk) taking into consideration that vaporeto (Orta station) doesn't serve that station after 23:30 so that leaves you with only solution the use of sea taxi (100 EUR) or walking.

The hotel lies in the quiet neighborhood,in Cannaregio which is not far away from the main attractions, but, it offers tranquility. Generally, the services are top.

This is a truly great hotel to stay in when visiting Venice! We enjoyed our stay immensely, especially the excellent service, the welcoming and pleasant staff, and our gorgeous room. Whenever we return to Venice, it’s a no-brainer where we’ll be staying.

Location was great, away from the craziness but also easy to access it. Easy access to taxi's / water busses to both the station and airport. The hotel is beautiful with at wonderful collection of Venetian art. Nothing was too much for the staff & the bar is really nice. Check in was arduous.

I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the hotel is. The décor is Venetian in style and, honestly, very well done—every detail feels carefully thought out. Our room, with a canal view, was very spacious and perfectly decorated. Although it is far from St. Mark’s Square, it’s an easy and enjoyable walk, allowing you to truly experience Venice. There are also several restaurants nearby for dinner. Overall, it was a perfect experience. Don’t miss the gardens—they’re enormous and open directly onto the lagoon, with a breathtaking view that’s truly worth taking the time to enjoy. Nothing to add.

The calm, quietness of the hotel and it's accessibility to transport. Excellent breakfast each day and a beautiful, warm room to rest in at the end of the day.

The hotel is wonderful and everything was perfect. I would especially like to mention a staff member named Tahani — she was extremely helpful, kind, and always willing to assist

This hotel is enough off the beaten path that it's quiet and romantic in the evening, but you're in Venice so neither is it too far to anything. The breakfast was amazing. The room was beautiful and the grounds were even better. Nothing like being picked up at your hotel's own water taxi stop, or just going around the corner to the local vaporetto station. OK, so one time we wanted to eat breakfast in the garden, which we were told not to do because of mosquitos. Then another time we tried to have some wine and cheese in the garden and they told us the restaurant was opening soon, so we couldn't sit at the tables. I would just like to say that if you can't have breakfast in the garden because of mosquitos, probably dinner is even worse? So there was some kind of communication problem there that was not representative of the rest of our nearly perfect stay.

Location: very calm area, close to the vaporetto stop where you can take orange line to the airport. Breakfast: amazing, there were many vegan foods Palace: very beautiful, the hotel itself is the attraction, there are beautiful decorations, paintings, chandeliers, there is also a very pretty garden Nothing

Nothing - it was great! Some may not like that it is not right in the middle of the tourist area but we loved that it was in a quiet area and only a short walk from all the attractions

  • Engine customer Sep 2025

    - At check out, the staff became aggressive because I simply asked a question about the charges. Was very unprofessional. He could simply answer normally - limited options for room service - overall great hotel, just try to avoid the staff
