the female bathroom was dirty with black spots on the mirrors and no soap. However male bathroom was much cleaner, so we just used that one

Property was STUNNING—perfect Venice vibes. Location was great too, surrounded by great wine and cicchetti. Bed were super creaky and staff could have been friendlier

One day without hot water, unexpected power shut down.

Location is perfect, easy to get to and close to some of the best restaurants in Venice. Also not far from a great (very quiet!) spot to watch the sunset and an amazing Gelateria. The property is quiet, spacious, and beautiful. Multiple gates keep it secure, and staff is very kind and helpful. Kitchen is amazing! And the people staying here are generally pretty chill. My single complaint is that the a/c basically did nothing. If my room had screens on the windows that would’ve been more effective, but I chose heat over mosquitoes. It wasn’t horrible though, and usually by around 1am things are cool and pleasant.

Good location close to the train station good for short stays Very basic hostel with little comfort

The staff is very helpful, beautiful old instalation with a lot of green area. Close to everything. They have a nice kitchen with some groceries. Free coffee and tea. They rent the towels and there was no soap to wash. Thank God for traveling with towels and soap.

Friendly staff, very clean rooms and facilities, historic buildings with medieval vibes (in a good sense), excellent location - 15 min walk from a train station, yet quiet. Will definitely stay again.

as a hostel, it is nice overall like kitcken, dining area they are all well maintained and staffs are very supportive. I had a stay in the room which is located to the side building of the main, it has an air conditioner or something like that I am not sure, which turn on/off every 5 mins and makes huge noise while it is on; I tried to plug off it but I might have done the worng plug. I was wearing earplugs, but I could still hear the frequent noise. I also thought it wasn't eco-friendly becasue it was in March and no need for a cooling or air changing system that's been on and off. So I was also very confused.

The location and the garden were amazing! there was a random guy that was sleeping in the floor of our hostel, uhhhh idk what that is about. the bathroom smelled and the bed was in comfortable but it was a good experience

Hostel Bed Incident – Venice – April 4, 2026 - 3:42 AM – Assigned bed A of Room 1, occupied, reception closed, nowhere to sleep. - Sat on chair/leaned against wall, stayed quiet, kept belongings with me. - 6:00 AM – left hostel to continue trip.

The bathroom smell awful!? not very clean to be honest. The facilities were ok

The other girls I shared the room with were very kind, and the location is far from the busy streets so it’s very quiet (but that also means it’s far from the station) The reception guy was just incredibly rude, information isn’t shared well enough amongst the staffs, he threatened that he’ll leave and I won’t be able to check in even though I was well within the check-in time I was specifically told in the email, you have to pay €4 for the shitty hard towels, hair dryer isn’t in the room and you have to ask for it every time, the surface is ok but the bathroom is disgustingly smelly (I’m positive they’re not cleaning the drains), AC and radiator isn’t available to use even though they’re in the room (they say it’s the law but it’s bs because I could definitely use AC in other Venice hotels), they don’t reply within business hours, they lie about the radiator becoming available soon (it didn’t), and when I ask for that because the room was freezing they ignore you even if it was within business hours (they insist the room had above 24℃ but that is a total lie as it was literally freezing in the room, not just me but other guests were cold too), they (he) are far from helpful and kind. Maybe the female staff was nicer than this male staff with glasses. I had to leave the hostel the second day because of how horrible it was.

It is historic and beautiful.

The staff was lovely, the room was good for the price, it was secure. The kitchen was well equipped, they even had free pasta, and a lot of seasoning to use. And the hostel was located away from all the tourist. It was the one of the best hostel that I tried.

The receptionist is very nice and helpful. They have free tea and coffee in the reception area, you have your own locker inside of the room so your bags are safe there. The location is good to its not far from the train station. If you are easily to wake up with people who snore sooooo loud. This is not for you! The housekeeping clean it very well. However, they should put something to hang the clothes not a laundry basket. I recommend that they should have something for soap and body wash inside the shower area si we dont need to put our stuff on the floor.

A fantastic stay overall. The hostel is peaceful, well-maintained, and beautifully situated next to the canals, away from the tourist crowds, a bit of a walk to the train station & attractions, but worth it for its price.

Overall, it was an amazing experience. The staff were extremely polite and spoke excellent English. The facilities were great, including complimentary tea and a shared food corner in the kitchen. Cleaning was so good. The heater in my room wasn’t working, but everything else was so positive that it didn’t affect my stay.
