Exceptional. The best vacation rental experience we have ever had. The location is simply unmatched. Nearly every iconic photograph of Venice seems to feature this building in some way, making it one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. During our tour, our guide spent considerable time explaining the history and significance of the building and the surrounding square, which gave us an even greater appreciation for where we were staying. It quickly became clear that we were in the very center of one of the world's most famous and historic destinations. One of our favorite parts of the stay was simply opening the windows and experiencing Venice throughout the day. Early in the morning, we enjoyed the quiet sounds of street sweepers and vendors beginning to set up for the day. By midday, the square transformed into a vibrant scene filled with visitors from around the world. In the evenings, we could hear multiple piano and string ensembles performing at restaurants throughout the square, creating an atmosphere that felt almost surreal. It was endlessly entertaining to watch the activity below, wave to tourists taking photographs, and feel immersed in the life of Venice. Despite being in such a central location, the apartment itself was remarkably quiet when the windows were closed. The interior was beautiful, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The water pressure and hot water were exceptional, the best we experienced anywhere in Europe. The staff was equally outstanding. They accommodated an extremely early check-in, arranged transportation, and coordinated a complimentary boat trip to Murano. That excursion ended up becoming one of the highlights of our trip. The glass demonstration was fascinating, and we were so impressed that we commissioned an original Murano glass sculpture of this building as a permanent reminder of our stay and our time in Venice. Another unexpected benefit of staying here was the convenience.

The best location we have ever had in a tourist city. Breakfast in the room was perfect to watch San Marco's Square and not have to get into the heat or crowd. Would only stay at this location when returning to Venice.

Receptionist (Alice) was super informative and welcoming. I booked the suite with the terrace facing the St Marks Basilica and was ecstatic that there was a lift going up to the 4th floor. Extremely clean, great views, and the bath tub was 10/10. I’m not sure if it’s 2 twin/full pushed together to make the queen bed but by morning you could tell it was splitting apart. Besides that no issues!

Great location, great breakfast, great staff, large rooms! Nothing was bad.

Old room, it looked to be 30 years old, bathroom was not clean, and had a bad odor. I realize this is old Italy but for the price it was not as expected. No lobby, minimal front desk, we carried our bags up and down to our room. We loved the view, but it would have been nice to have ear plugs when the bells rang right above our room.

The climate system was very difficult to get to function.

We had a major flight delay and could not get in touch with staff regarding cancelling a first reservation. Our night at the end of our trip was fine, but I don’t plan to visit Venice again as I feel it is too overrun with tourists.

The location and view are extraordinary. The finishes in the unit seem brand new and are to a very high standard. Nothing.

Everything Nothing

Location. View. Size of room. Luxurious feel. Breakfast was late and incorrect. No terrace.

What did I like? Everything about the property was "almost" perfect. We only lacked a personal butler (just kidding) which would make it absolutely perfect. I wish our room had bigger windows and/or a balcony but even then, the view that we got of San Marco Piazza was beyond priceless. Yes its a bit pricey, but you'd feel you got good value out of the money you pay. The price. Also, the instructions on where to find the reception were vague (although we found the door to the rooms with no problems). We didnt see the recep door at first even though it is diagonally opposite the entry to the rooms, mainly because it was not signposted properly. The door said "San Benedetto" in big letters and you need to look carefully to see "San Marco" also written there. A bit confusing but there it is.

Location is great and having a terrace was a plus. However, an uncomfortable bed, aged place, and worst of all, shower drainage was blocked, leading to overflow. It's not worth the price paid and was extremely underwhelming.
