There was a noise coming from the door which was locked. We could hear talks, dog eating, steps. As a result I couldn’t sleep properly

You had access to a kitchen so you do have the ability to Cook food that you bring. There were a couple of bottles of wine for sale in the main living area. The courtyard was a really nice space to unwind and hang out. My kids enjoyed the couple of games that the owners had available. That and the hammock in the courtyard were the highlight of their stay in the hotel. Location was great. Easily accessible but a couple hundred meters from the closest plaza. Overall a very charming 13 Century Hotel. Would not recommend for an intimate setting. The suite we were in open to the courtyard. We heard people out there for a few hours after we laid down. It’s essentially a house where the middle main living floor was broken into two hotel suites with their own detached bathrooms (aka have to walk through the common area to get to your bathroom). However, we would go back with our kids. While some things could be done better (breakfast, lawn care, general orderliness to enhance the place), the overall charm and unique semi-private courtyard setting offered the perfect escape from the business of the streets while constantly reminding you that you are in Venice! Breakfast was very minimal. Cereal, options for instant coffee, or tea with a boiling kettle.Upon arrival from the train station, I would not recommend taking the 2 unless the line is way low. A better option seems to take the 1 line (water bus). The 2 was very busy both days we were in town.

The host was warm and inviting, the house was beautiful with so much character and charm, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean and spacious, the kitchen was easy to use and was no problem when shared, the location was also great

Quiet area. Communication was very good and the host was kind for check-in with our unforeseen train delay. The bathroom is separate from the room. The doors were squeaky and doesn’t seem secure.

Great location. Spacious rooms . Had a full kitchen The beds were a bit uncomfortable. Would have liked supplies like a blow dryer .

I absolutely loved the location the little backyard the oasis feeling you could feel the beautiful oldness of the house and it just developed you. The windows were amazing. The smell of the place was incredible. The kitchen and every single thing was wonderful. I loved being there and I think of it all the time. Nothing I was very happy and I felt very lucky to be there with my family

excellent location - incl just a 9 min walk from the S Angelo Orange Line waters stop - Airport We had the family suite - 2 huge rooms / sofas / tables / 2 double beds - they only have one exit so you have to pass through one bedroom to get to the other. Lovely little kitchen area Plenty warm enough Location is great for St Marks ( 10 min) etc - and an easy to navigate route For the price of 1 normal hotel room - we got 2 large rooms and access to the kitchen Bathroom is private / but across a public area - so take a robe or good PJs They only have gauze on the huge windows - so not so dark at night - so if this affects you do take a sleep mask The lovely marble floors are cold on bare feet so slippers / flip flops for going to the bathroom at night was very nice I think they had a cat / which had prob been in our room at some stage - I am highly allergic - but my pills worked

Place very kids friendly and the rooms are huge and comfortable. The location is quite good! The bathroom out of the bedroom.

Nothing Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience at the accommodation (to put it mildly). Despite the accommodation advertising en-suite/private bathrooms, the rooms only had external bathrooms. To access the bathroom, we had to cross the reception area and walk down the corridor. To make matters worse, the bathroom, which was supposed to be private, was used by other people. This was incredibly frustrating, as we were not expecting such an inconvenience or misleading advertising. It's also important to note that the "garden view" from most rooms is actually a view of a wall. The experience was further aggravated by the loud noise in the morning, with people checking out right outside the dormitory door, which also serves as the reception. Furthermore, as we stayed during the winter, I must say that the room was quite cold as the heater was not operative. The final straw was the overall state of the accommodation, which was in very poor condition. The garden seemed abandoned, and the bathroom was full of mold (black mold). Since my daughter has allergies, we decided to leave the accommodation and request a refund for the unused night. However, to our surprise—and bordering on dishonesty—the accommodation refused to refund the money. There was no apology for the inconvenience, no restitution of the money—nothing. Truly regrettable. I believe a hostel would be a better choice than an overpriced accommodation with shared bathrooms and a deplorable state of upkeep.

A wonderful place to stay, by all means: our rooms were spacious and the private bathroom was neat. The tasteful interior design, the furniture and the amenities have been arranged with obvious care. The hosts were kind and hands-off, and the garden was the cherry on top of the cake. Excellent location close to the Academia, easy to navigate. Highly recommended!
