Nothing DO NOT STAY THERE, under and circumstances. It's a run down, funky mess, and Booking should be ASHAMED to list it AND to give it a rating of 9! It was the worst place I've every stayed. DO NOT stay there! I wish I could give a review rating of -1. It's really that bad. YOu won't sleep and you will feel disgusted! The hotel is a shabby, dilapidated, run down mess. Booking gave it a 9 . It should get a -1. My room was barebones, light bulb hanging from the ceiling in a room with: !. NO closets or hangers or anywhere to put your clothes. I draped my clothes over a chair. 2. Bare walls, no attempt at making a pleasant room 3. a broken shower head in the bathroom that sent water everywhere but down onto the person! Funky, funky, funky! Broken steps leading upstairs. THe place has been let go and is a shameful mess. BUT THE WORST: Blasting Salsa music in the same plaza where the hotel is. It comes from 2 businesses that stay open until 3 am in the same small plaza as the hotel: A Beer joint and a TaquerIa restaurant. HUGE speakers in front of these businesses play music until 3 am. IMPOSSIBLE to sleep.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The only good thing is the location. No hangers or place to hang the clothes. The toilet is IN THE SHOWER and everything gets wet whenever one bathes. The shower curtain is filthy. Cleaning buckets and dirty laundry always left out in the halls. This place needs major restoration. Looks like an absentee owner with no manager.

Love the location, close to the Zocalo, malecón and touristic places.

I didn't like that I got the room closer to the plaza where all the activities is happening so it was a lot of music til earlier part of the morning and the smoke that affected me.

ONLY The Location False advertisement: not working WiFi , Check in and check out times , the room doesn’t look like on their website, it says it has parking but it doesn’t, it’s an old building and staff wasn’t helpful.

The only thing going for this hotel is the location, very close to malecon and zocalo. Staff was unfriendly and unaccommodating. No blanket or spread on beds, just sheet, when asked for a cover they said they didn't have any. Horribly loud in room facing narrow alley/street below with several restaurants below blasting loud, techno beat music until after midnight. Interior rooms were small, dark and had no windows.

I did booking for my parents when they got to the hotel they were told they didn’t have a reservation there. And they couldn’t get a refund we had to ask booking. But I made sure to print out the information for my mother since the room I had already paid for . According to them they didn’t have any room available. My mother said I want you to refund the card it was paid with and I will look for another hotel. And out the blue there was a room. It’s very unfortunate that this happen since they had just arrived from the airport with the travel and being tired since they got there at 11:00 pm.

All the staff I interacted with were super friendly and the bed itself was new and actually quite comfortable, and while it sometimes took quite a while (eg., 10 minutes) I could usually get hot water in the shower if I waited long enough. Unlike in the pictures it was an interior room with a window looking at the hallway so you had to keep the blinds shut and the windows closed for any privacy, but more bothersome was that there was only one thin sheet on the bed so when it got chilly one night I had to sleep in my pants and jacket. There were no hooks to hang anything up or bench to put your bag on. No toilet seat so be prepared for that. Also while you can't really blame the hotel and probably expect some noise in a centro hotel in Mexico regardless, this was one of the noisiest places I've stayed. No drinkable water to be had in the hotel, either (something that's hit or miss at this price point but might be worth factoring into your cost math), and it was about a 10-15 minute walk in the morning to find coffee. Given the place isn't even crazy cheap (and fyi there were nearby hotels not listed with online booking sites with signs out advertising rooms for MXN 100-150 less) I'd be inclined to spend a little more—or if you're comfortable not pre-booking just show up in person as see what you can get in the vicinity.

The location was good. Prior to arriving we wrote to extend out stay an extra day but were told we would have to do that through Booking, com which we did. On arrival the receptionist tried to charge us for a cancelled reservation as booking had sent an updated reservation with a different number. We arrived about 8:00 AM and asked if we could get into a room earlier than normal check-in but were told the Hotel was full and we would have to wait. We saw no indication of client movement that would indicate that being true. We went out for the morning but had to return as my wife had an urgent bathroom need. The receptionist would not let us use any bathroom so we went to another hotel that helped with the need. My wife was suffering and at 80 years old, staying out in the sun was a little difficult for me so we asked if we could wait for our room in the lobby and were refused permission. Whle waiting we put our luggage in a back room where I noticed a water dispenser, When I asked if I could have a little water I was told it was for staff only. In three weeks of travel, this was our most unpleasant treatment.

Location. Good wifi. Loved the architecture of house but it looked almost abandoned. I hope the oener will put some money in it. It is nothing like on pictures. Hotel is tired. It has lot of potential. It would be easy to make it more welcome: a coat of color on the walls, better lighting, a coffee machine etc.
