Well, after all you get a room with doubke bed, bathroom and AC in a good location Where to start.. This place has no reception, no common areas and the worst - your bedroom door is to the street!! I didn't feel secure and on tip of that, got ppl knocking on my door.. other guests in the morning.. cleaning lady just to check if I might jave left before check-out time... Room is vey wierd with many closed doors and you can hear the ppl living behind them. To me it was a surprise. I would have never booked if I had known there aren't any people (staff & guests) and it would be so difficult to find my room and get in and don't feel safe. Also room was clean. Soap dispenser was empty, toilet paper wasn't replaced, bed cover was dirty.. embarrassing how cleaning lady/ guy leave you a note asking for a tip. Booking.com must have a different category for those places so customers don't get a surprise. For the property, I recommend to write it in BIG LETTERS . Getting an unpleasant surprise made me giving even lower score.

The room was comfortable, with a working refrigerator and air conditioner. There is a pleasant courtyard area by the rooms. There are a few things that should be repaired - for example the toilet mechanism kept wasting water and I often had to take off the top to seal the rubber stopper by hand so the tank would fill. Also the doors and door lock to the room are on their last legs and should be replaced soon.

Pretty dog welcomed me. Check in by WhatsApp is smooth by owner

Good location. Responsive staff (via WhatsApp text). Insufficient shower pressure. Hot water not available for two nights for shower. Some flies and mosquitoes throughout the facility due to the humid weather.

The refrigerator doesn't seem to be working.

Very good value. Spacious. Good location. Air conditioning Not the cleanest. But for the price, well worth it

I borrowed a bike and rode around the town a bit. Cycling along the seafront was nice, I found the original Gran Cafe de la Parroquia with the good lechero coffee. I enjoyed the aquarium. Liliana at the hotel was very helpful and good at English. Veracruz was a bit hot for me. It surprised me a little it was so hot in March. But the hotel was very good.

Great hostel! The staff is amazing! They gave me a lot of tips for Veracruz. I was really sad that there wasn’t any music nights anymore, but it did give me a quiet night! Location close to old center and sea! I didn’t feel that safe to walk alone in that part of the city.

it smell mold..room,wc, and shower are separated from each other around the kitchen, no roof..one big tree whose leaves are everywhere...

Noisy from the traffic at night. No ac or fan, very hot. No secured parking lot nearby

None of the amenities listed were there. Keypad to enter room was directly on the street. Took time and did not feel safe

Property is not as described nor looks like the pictures. No terrace no bar and we also got the wrong room

The idea of the project and the decoration are nice. The location is Ok, little weird to walk at night, but very near to center and coast (easy to take a taxi at night). I also very appreciated that the staff was so understanding and changed our room free of charge. They have free bikes!!! I really didn't like that the room I firstly rented had no window at all and the door goes direct on the sidewalk so you can not let it open (they nicely changed my room for me for a cheaper one, but with window). I also didn't like that the drain in the bathroom work very badly and you need to shower with water going up your feet. The breakfast was poor (one cup of coffee, 3 very little toast bread, a little piece butter, 3 spoons yogurt, some papaya), but there is a nice street stall one block further to have a cheap but much better breakfast afterwards.

● The staff was very friendly and I felt very welcome. ● The bed was very comfortable ● At the weekend you can buy a very tasty Mexican breakfast for very little money in addition to the breakfast provided ●The room is quite dark and there is a lot of traffic outside at night

the room was completely hipsterized! a touch of paint, some good taste details and voila. the magic of a very good located old house puts you on the center of a nice very moved coastal city but OUT of the traffic “troncones” and loud speakers from some Pueblo business. and the cherry on the pay, they are pet friendly!!! but always remember to be a responsible “papa” or “mama” no parking around but it seems to be a very nice and safe neighborhood
