My favourite stay in Italy so far - son and mum hosting duo, Emanuele and Laura, are so hospitable and their service was exceptional. They were accommodating, quick to respond and just so helpful. The room I stayed in was spacious, and the bathroom was big which was a nice surprise! There's also A/C so that was great after a day out in the summer heat. Another highlight is it is walking distance (8-10mins) from the Arena! Nothing - everything was great

Comfort and location were excellent. Laura and Emanuele are exceptional hosts. Advertisement from booking.com said there was breakfast included. Sadly there are no provisions for that.

We had a wonderful stay at B&B Valverde in Verona and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, going out of their way to make sure we felt at home. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Verona, just a short walk from all the main attractions, yet tucked away enough to enjoy a peaceful night’s rest. The room was spotlessly clean and very well-maintained, with great attention to detail. The facilities were excellent too — everything we needed was available, from a comfortable bed to a well-equipped bathroom and a cozy space to relax. It’s clear that the hosts put a lot of care into making sure guests have a pleasant and comfortable experience. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Verona! All good

Good location between the train station and the city center. The host is very nice and made everything very simple for us even though we arrived quite late in the evening. The bathroom was very big and had all the toiletries. Big bed and conformable room with enough room for big suitcases. It was a bit noisy if the windows were open, since the apartment is on the first floor and the street can be a bit busy.

Friendly welcome. Good sized room and shower room, comfortable bed. Limited options for ‘breakfast’ but new coffee machine just installed.

Location was right in the center with everything in walking distance. Room was wonderful and at such a great price. Facilities were great and we were given a surplus of amenities. And the owners were super friendly and eager to help. All around lovely place to stay. Nothing. This was a perfect place to stay in Verona as a couple.

The hotel is in an amazing location, a quick walk to either the arena or the train station, the room was clean and beds were frequently made up for us. The hosts were exceptional, friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

- 1) As “check-in hours is flexible” was written on the Q&A section, we asked if we can get there on the evening. And Emmanuel answered “no worries, send me your documents and it’ll be all done”. Therefore we e-mailed him our passport photos. WHAT A MISTAKE! 2) When we got to the room, it was so cold because the underfloor heating was inadequate. We turned the air-conditioner on. However, after half an hour, the room was still freezing. Then we noticed the big gap between the floor and the balcony door (as seen in the pictures). Also the A-C wasn’t working. We texted to Emmanuel (thank God that all the messages are here in the app) and he came. 3) He tried to fix the A-C, even called his mom, but nothing had changed in 1 hour. Once we requested to change the room, he offered us the one accross ours. Also added “that rooms balcony door is renewed and yours is going to be renewed next week”. We asked “so you knew this rooms balcony door can’t be closed properly, then why did not you renew this one BEFORE giving it to us”. He couldn’t give us a proper reason. 4) We asked “OK but does that rooms A-C work?” He proudly said “Yes”. Than, after trying to show us that it works, he&us saw that it wasn’t working either! By the way all he can say was “nobody ever complained about the room being cold” while his coat was still on and -ofcourse- wasn’t sweating a bit-. 5) The next day Emmanuel wrote that he had a technician to fix the A-C and the only problem was the angle of the A-C vents’ directing warm Air behind the wardrobe. At that time we didn’t bother to ask that working 2 hours on would be enough to heat the room if this was the problem, and the room accross had the same issue:) because we had already noticed that he was unable to admit his failure. 6) The next morning, after our check-out time, when we opened the app to text our next hotel in Milan, we found out that our stay at B&B Valverde seems as “cancelled”.

Perfect location! Room and bathroom very stylish, comfortable bed, everything well thought of. Most hospitable host who made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended. Everything was fine!

Three reasons I have booked this place are; the distance to the train station, the price and the cleanliness reviews. All boxes checked and so much more. As a hotel guest normally, I was so impressed with this room, the organization ( train station instructions, late check-in instructions with a call back-up) spotlessly clean with a hotel-style set-up. Emanuele and Laura are like true hospitality experts, kudos, well done and thank you. Awesome stay!

Location, clean, friendly service, airport shuttle. It’s called bed and breakfast but there is no breakfast so is misleading.
