Location, linen and pillows, generally clean. Bed was two singles pushed together, no topper. Very uncomfortable. No space in room to sit. Balcony tiny and right next to another room. Black mold in shower, bathroom very dark. Interior decoration of room very dark for such a small room. Loud street noise, loud air con. Hugely overpriced.

This place had no AC working in three different room we were shuffled around to. No kidding it was over 80 degrees in our room. They would shift us to another room and it too would have no AC. HORRIBLE.

Location and the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was a small selection but of very high quality. Very quiet area. I would have liked to see a better selection of toiletries on offer, especially at the price point. The lack of hair conditioner being provided (just a two in one) was disappointing at the price point.

We arrived after hours, and she graciously waited for us to personally welcome us, which meant so much after a long journey. That level of care and hospitality is rare and unforgettable. The residence itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with great attention to detail. We felt at home immediately and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend Residenza Borsari to anyone visiting Verona — and Ombretta is truly a gem!

Location The shower had extremely weak water flow, making it barely functional. Additionally, it took over 5 minutes for hot water to arrive due to this low flow. When we reported this to the owner, they acknowledged the problem and mentioned they were aware of an issue with the pump. However, no solution was offered, neither a room change nor any alternative accommodation. We explained that we had paid for a room with a working shower and felt this should be addressed. The owner declined to help, stating we were the only guests to complain (despite confirming the known pump issue) and citing our discounted rate as a reason for not offering any remedy. We don’t believe a promotional rate should exclude us from receiving the basic amenities we paid for. It’s concerning that the property is renting rooms with known plumbing issues without disclosing this to guests or offering alternative accommodations. We hope management will address these maintenance problems and improve their approach to guest service when issues arise.

We arrived completely exhausted from our travels, and felt throughly restored after a night of luxurious rest in this hotel. We felt tucked into everything romantic and unique about Verona at this hotel. Thank you for the hospitality.

The whole room was so cozy. It was in the center but the room was quiet. The bathroom had a wonderful rain shower head, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was a good temperature and easy to control.
