Best Western Vicksburg

Room was clean, staff was nice, hotel was very old and dated. Ok for a guy to stay in for work not the greatest for couples bonding or little kids to run around.

Only bummer was the ice maker machine

Need Improvement In facility, AC was not working properly.

Like many hotels I booked this Best Western while on the road through the app. According to the person working check-in I booked a smoking room. I couldn’t believe it and looked at my email confirmation and sure enough it said King room with smoking the on the next line of the email said non smoking. Strange confirmation email. I ask if they had a non smoking room and she said they did, but she wasn’t allowed to change the reservation. Then she said that maybe she could get me in that non smoking room if I was willing to pay because it was a little bigger. At this point it was late at night and we were tired and i agreed to pay an additional $130 for the non smoking room that ironically had a hint of a smell of cigarette smoke. Very frustrated with myself and Best Western Vicksburg.

This was our first time staying at this best western and we could not have picked a better hotel. From the front desk check-in to the staff that was managing cleaning the rooms and at breakfast everybody was very friendly. The rooms were very clean. I have stayed at several hotels and everything was great. We were in town for the LJ Echols blues show that was at the Ameristar Casino, so it was conveniently located to the casino. The breakfast was a full buffet style breakfast and it had everything from cereal to making your own waffle. We will definitely stay back at this hotel when we’re back in Vicksburg.

The breakfast was good and as noted before the front desk staff was friendly.

Clean rooms, it’s an older hotel but nice.

Wonderful stay! Comfortable beds, super clean, great air conditioing, everything worked, nice tv, indoor swimming pool. Terrific breakfast!

Needed a place to stay overnight for a job. The price was fair and the hotel was surrounded by restaurants and stores. Would stay here again

Coffee in in office area is very good. Vending machine upstairs doesn’t work, and non of the ice machines worked. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. They have a great breakfast.

Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room was mostly clean-some hair in tub and on sink. Walking barefoot was a bad idea as carpet needed cleaning. Air conditioning was sufficient. Breakfast was good. Staff were pleasant and helpful

The staff was very helpful when we registered. Nice breakfast, good tv watching.

The staff were really nice and accommodating for us! We were driving from Texas and I noticed that we were going to end up arriving early and they were able to allow us to check in quite early!! The room and hotel itself was quite clean. Pool was super cold! The breakfast was mediocre at best.

Older well-maintained hotel with quality breakfast items. Does the job!

Air conditioning was going before we got there which made it nice and cool. Room was good size for the two of us and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had sausage , eggs, waffles, cereal. Etc. close to freeway and Vicksburg National Military Park.. The pool was freezing cold

The breakfast was decent and all the staff were really sweet. When we arrived it was a little later... you can't check in INSIDE the facility. You check in from a side window. I HATED that. The room was not clean, sheets had stains, when I dried off from a shower with the towel, I had a long blonde hair on my shoulder. I've never experienced anything like this before. But the clerk at the desk that morning did make it right, she had the housekeeper come to clean our room & change all the towels. Also the shower head isn't adjustable so the way it was spraying, because I'm a little shorter, had me basically pinned against the back wall of the shower. Will I ever stay at a Best Western again, probably not because that bothered me but it was a decent stay.
