Candlewood Suites Vicksburg by IHG

location was great access close to the highway, staff and room accommodations are great for longer stays. I really like the 24-hour gym and laundry options offered here. Only complaint is the front loader washing machines smell bad and if they could get cleaned little more often it would be great. Otherwise, my stay here is great, staff is very friendly and attentive, and I plan to stay for several months.

This is an absolute lovely place to stay. We checked in with our grouchy cat and although you do have to pay a fee for having an animal, they were gracious, and the rooms had bowls and everything we needed for him. The room is nicely appointed, clean, and feels like home. I highly recommend this hotel

Pet friendly-not exactly-$75 per pet fee. Buried somewhere in the fine print. Otherwise great stay.

The location was great with easy access to all the places I needed to be. I appreciate them meeting my request for double beds to accommodate me and my family for the week. I liked that there was free washing and drying. My family enjoyed the free coffee. I liked that the room was spacious and perfect for the week with the kitchenette. The staff were friendly, helpful and genuinely nice to meet. If we have to stay in Vicksburg again I will be booking with Candelwood again. I did not love the outdoor area. I understand most extended stay places do not have a pool but it would have been nice to have an area for loungers with umbrellas for tanning and relaxing. The only other negative I could think of, it might be helpful to upgrade the door locks or the key cards. My key card had to be exchanged at least four times and re-magnetized at least six times. Now the staff was more than willing to do it, but it was just frustrating at times.

Pet friendly - however, there was no amount POSTED online or in the foyer of hotel that told "how much" additional charge was for having a pet. $75 wasn't unreasonable, but I feel it should have been posted.
