Absolutely gorgeous place. First time I stayed in a hotel where reality was better than the pictures. We chose a room with sea view and for us it was worth the extra cost. Pretty ceramic floors was very tasteful. The bed was a bit too hard for my taste, but it's preferred to when the beds are too soft. The light bulbs in the room could preferably be changed to those who give a warmer light and not so white.

The location and view at Hotel Sporting are the best I have ever seen. The staff are amazing, and the restaurant - both for breakfast and dinner - was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and being able to open the windows to look and listen to the ocean was an absolute joy. We would absolutely stay here again!
-
Paying extra for sunbed and umbrella. Rooms are a bit outdated, especially shower.
-
great view, comfortable bed, kind staff, accessible location. cold breakfast also rooms could be cleaner it was dusty and there was a flee in the room.
-
Lovely breakfast, water not hot enough for the tea or coffee Kettle in the room, very pricey for the sunbeds considering we were staying at the hotel

This is an amazing property with gorgeous views across the Bay if Naples. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was immense—wherever you are from and whatever you call breakfast, you could find it here, along with impeccable service and gorgeous scenery. The beach was private and exclusive. The rooms have doors and balconies overlooking the water below. The onsite restaurant was upscale and delicious. I can not say enough good things about this place! We hope to return. Nothing—everything was perfect!

This was truly a hidden gem. The location and the view from the room was fabulous and even pictures did not do justice. Would def come back to this hotel. Staff was exceptional. Nothing, everything was perfect and exceeded expectation.

The ocean view from the hotel room and the restaurant Sticky floors
-
Stunning property in a town filled more with locals than tourist which was so nice after visiting the other cities of Amalfi during the day, which were so crowded, and then to come back to this quaint little city. The staff was beyond accommodating and so nice. I would suggest better pillows on the beds

There was nothing I did not like
-
I was located on ground one which is way in the bottom. The room was kind of musty because of being below Earth

The entire staff including Ciro were awesome, small-town hospitality. I wasn't crazy about the 44 euro/ $52 daily fee to use the beach lounge/umbrella/towels, it was a bit steep. The rooms could have used a little more cloths storage space

The staff was incredible and so friendly. We will be back!

The rooms are spotlessly clean, large and comfortable. I was supposed to have a room with a small balcony. But was upgraded without asking to a room with a large terrace and amazing water views. One of the best hotel experiences that I have had in all of my travels.. the hotel is perched on a cliff. But has elevator access down to the beach which made it quite easy. There are some stairs to get to the elevators though. This is just for informational purposes. The beach is wonderful. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is just on the edge of the historic center. So is quite quiet, even during the pizza festival. The staff at the hotel were amazing and very friendly.

***Bring a snorkel!! The water is very clear*** Refrigerator had a printed sign on it saying guests are not allowed to put outside food or outside beverages in the refrigerator; it is only allowed for the hotel's minibar items. I take it this comes from wanting to avoid spills or rotting food in there, but I would rather have the hotel change this to have a fee if the guest leaves a mess in the refrigerator or something similar.

There were amazing views and the dinner we had at the outdoor restaurant has very good. The website said they had transportation to and from the train station, but that was not true. They can help you schedule it, but the cost is very high and you must give a least a day notice.

This hotel has beautiful tiled floors throughout that give a highly attractive and very distinctive look. There's access to the beach club directly below the hotel at the bottom of the cliffs, which is great for bathing and swimming. If you wish to avoid direct sunlight you can swim up until mid-morning in the shade because the cliffs cast a partial shadow over the beach.

The breakfast, the tunnel to the beach smelling bad

The beds were terrible. Why does a top level hotel have uncomfortable and obviously old beds? They actually push 2 beds together to make a queen. Also the manager was totally rude. When we proved to him the mistake his staff made, he could not accept it. When we were checking out, he couldn't even say goodbye. He is the reason the hotel is getting this review and I would never revisit this hotel. There are way too many options available to have to put up with someone so rude.
